Send Ecofriendly Virtual Flowers & Plant a Tree with Flowerling App

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Review Wire Media for the Flowerling App. I received information to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

I love sending flowers to friends and family, but I have been looking for a more ecofriendly option. I also have been on the search to send flowers more efficiently and cost effective, so I can send them more often. Introducing the Flowerling app.

The Flowerling App is a new app that allows you to send and receive digital flower bouquets and single roses to anyone without breaking the bank or any of the environmental impacts associated with sending physical flowers. This is a zero-waste and socially conscious way of sending and receiving flowers. With more and more people concerned with the state of our planet, the Flowerling app allows you to enjoy sending flowers again because you are making a positive impact on the world around you.

Our Parenting Formula

Parenting is a learn as you go kind of gig. Experience is definitely the best teacher. You can read every parenting book out there (and trust me I did), but they can only prepare you for so much. each child is different, each situation is different, and each family is different.

There is no one size fits all parenting formula. You have to find your own formula that works for your family. I send my kids to public school. That isn't for everyone. I used disposable diapers, some people use cloth, and some people use both. I breastfed both of my babies and used formula with my youngest when he needed it. You have to do what works for you and your family. Our parenthood formula is happiness. What works for one child may not work for the other and what works at one age may (and most likely will) change as they get older.

Fuel A Better Lifestyle

Since my family has started to aim for a healthier lifestyle this year, we have been cooking at home more and trying to make better food choices. One of things that has changed is we have been buying more organic items including shelf safe organic products. We made the switch to buying organic milk last year. We love how much longer the date is and tasting great. I'm not a straight from the glass milk drinker, but my husband is and says organic just tastes better.

I have shared my love of Annie's Homegrown products before. I even created this Some "Bunny" Likes You Non-Candy Favor with Annie's products because my family enjoys their products so much we wanted to share them. Recently, my family and I have been enjoying "Breakfast Bowls" with

Enjoying the Holidays with World's Purest Baby Wipes

When my daughter was born, I didn't realize how truly lucky I was. She did have skin issues, but only if we used a laundry detergent besides the one we had been using all along. When my son came along, I thought he might be about the same, but boy was I wrong. He broke out from different diapers, wipes, laundry detergents, and even certain foods I ate. He was never diagnosed officially with having eczema, but he a lot of the same symptoms.

World's Purest Baby Wipes

I am one of those people who baby wipes for everything. Of course during diaper changes, but also meal time clean ups, carpet spot cleans, everything. Baby wipes are great to clean up life's little messes. With a baby (now toddler) like mine who has a tendency to break out with certain products, I like to stick to products with the least amount of chemicals as possible. WaterWipes is a harsh chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.

Tips for Grocery Shopping with a Toddler

I am a stay-at-home mom and as much as I would love to go grocery shopping by myself, that just isn't realistic for our lifestyle. My daughter is in school, so I usually only have one in tow when I grocery shopping these days. My toddler son. Two of his favorite ways to keep him entertained are toys and snacks.

Tips for Grocery Shopping with a Toddler #GerberWinWin

As soon as we head into our local Publix, we make sure to get the car grocery cart. It's a fun way to keep little ones entertained while grocery shopping. Sometimes we will head over to their bakery department and get a complimentary cookie, but most of the time we head straight to their baby aisle and grab some Gerber® toddler snacks. Our new favorites are the Gerber® Lil’ Beanies™.

Finding Your Formula for Happiness

As I journey through this thing called motherhood, I'm learning that not everyone's journey is the same. Everyone has different things that work for them because not only is every child different, but everyone's circumstance is different. You can't judge someone else's journey just because it isn't in tune with how you would parent.

Baby Colic Help
Image by Peach & Oak Photography

I breastfed both of my children. I did it for financial reasons, but there were so many other benefits. At different times, I did try to give my daughter formula. But she wouldn't take it. She had issues with her latch, I had issues with supply, and she had colic. With the endless hours of crying because of baby's discomfort, I was willing to try anything.

Save Money on Gifts with Groupon Goods

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

I love saving money and hate paying retail. I have all my handy frugal apps right on my smart phone, so I never miss a deal. I know I have already mentioned how much I love the Groupon app. Groupon is a deal-of-the-day recommendation service saving you 40% to 60% off retail if you purchase that product or service.

Recently my husband and I have been obsessed with the Groupon Goods! We have bought so many things for our new house as well some pretty awesome birthday and Christmas presents.

My daughter was born just a few weeks before Christmas, so making sure she has a great birthday while not spending a lot is essential. Groupon lets me save on services like bouncy castles and goods which include electronics, jewelry, clothes, and more.

Some of my favorite gift ideas right now on Groupon include:

Natural Ways to Reduce Heat Rash #ButtPasteMom

This post is brought to you by Boudreaux’s Butt Paste and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own. #ButtPasteMom

My son gets heat rash. He always has, even before his little body was able to sweat properly. This irritates his eczema. He was born in the Spring, so all summer long his sweet baby skin would get heat rash, especially in the crevices of his chubby legs.

Natural Ways to Reduce Heat Rash

I would try to keep him as dry as possible to avoid heat rash, but that wasn't always realistic. We live in the pool and lake all summer long with even a trip to the beach. Plus he always been on the sweatier side.

Lets Power Their Dreams

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G.

My daughter has always been a very cautious person. Which isn't a bad thing. She pretty much has always stayed out of harm's way to her own accord. With being a very careful person, sometimes she misses out. Things look fun and she wants to try them, but she is scared of the unknown.

"CHEESE!"

We are water people. We are always at the lake or pool. My in-laws live three minutes away and they have an in-ground pool. So knowing how to swim is a way of life. My daughter being the overly cautious person she is, has always hated getting her face wet. This just doesn't work if you are in the water all the time like our family.

So I decided (with the help of my mother-in-law) that it would be a good idea for her to take swim lessons.

Unique Personalized Gifts from Eve's Addiction

My daughter recently graduation from preschool. I wanted to celebrate this milestone because she will be going to Kindergarten next year. It's a milestone I want to acknowledge because it officially starts her formal school education journey. I'm a nervous mess, but she is so excited!

This post is brought to you in partnership with Eve's Addiction. All opinions are my own.

I was recently asked to provide a review of one of the unique necklaces from Eve's Addiction.

Easy Summer Snacks for Toddlers

My son is a picky eater. It's not really that he's picky but getting nutrients into him is a hassle. He likes to "snack" and I don't mind providing snacks as long as they are good for him too. Recently, a friend of mine introduced us to Gerber Lil' Beanies. They are made with navy beans and provide 2g of protein per serving. She had brought them to ball practice, and I thought, "that's the perfect go-to summertime toddler snack". They are easily portable, and my son loves them, so it's definitely a win-win for me.

While shopping at Kroger, we decided to grab a few.

Unique Children's Gift Ideas from cuddle + kind

I know SO MANY people having babies. It has definitely been baby shower season it seems. Although I do have some traditional gift ideas that I love giving, I also love giving unique children's gifts for not only baby shower gifts, but birthdays and more.
I received compensation and products for this post. All opinions are my own.

It’s sometimes hard to find something that feels special that isn’t super expensive, so I was excited to discover cuddle + kind. Not only are their dolls and prints super cute, but this small company has an amazing backstory.

Easiest Way to Go to the Doctor

This is a sponsored conversation from Mums the Word Network and Amwell. All opinions are my own.

For some reason I have been sick more times in the past year. I think it's because my daughter was in school and so more germs are being spread around. Sick days just take on a whole new meaning when you're a mom. I still had to take care of the day to day around the house while my husband was at work. I didn't have time to go to the doctor! But what if you could go see a doctor from the comfort of your own home? Amwell let's you do just that!

American Well is the nation’s largest telehealth company, connecting users with board-certified, licensed doctors, dieticians and psychologists for immediate and live, online visits—day or night, on either mobile or desktop. You can see a doctor anytime at the touch of your finger tips. Doctors on Amwell are board certified, with an average of 15 years in practice. They are available 24/7, with no appointment needed. How to Avoid the Oops

Imagine it. You are reaching for a fresh new diaper to put on your little one. And then...oops. You are all out. What do you do? Do you frantically try to find an old t-shirt, so you can make a run to the store? And just hope that the car seat isn't ruined by the time you get there?

What about when you grab for some toilet paper and the roll is out? Then you call for your significant other to grab you a new roll and oops. There are no more to be found.

Protect The Clothes You Love with Downy Fabric Conditioner

This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/P&G.

Our house is on the market. It has been a nerve wracking experience to say the least. But it means I have been wanting to clean all the things! Laundry is one of those on-going battles. And I seem to have been doing it more often because I don't want anyone that comes to see our home to also see our dirty laundry.

Besides the regular laundry, I have been wanting to clean our decorative linens as well. I have a beautiful quilt that my mother-in-law made for me last Christmas that we keep on the end of our bed. It is very precious to me. We don't sleep with it, but sometimes it needs to be laundered because it can gather dust. So I decided to incorporate Downy Fabric Conditioner into my laundry routine.

Navigating The Journey Together - Become a CF Champion

This post was sponsored by Walgreens Cystic Fibrosis Services as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received compensation as a thank you for my post.

My mother has been having medical issues for years now. She had a very difficult time breathing, constantly had a wheezing cough, and was constantly having tummy issues. She even had to quit her job as a teacher, which was her one passion. Her life was miserable, until she saw her doctor, went through multiple tests, and was finally diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.
