Safe, Family Fun at Great Wolf Lodge LaGrange

So since we didn't go anywhere at all last year for winter or spring break plus basically missed my birthday, I decided I wanted to go somewhere that I have been wanting to take the kids, but have personally never been and that was Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, GA.

Safe, Family Fun at Great Wolf Lodge LaGrange

5 Reasons to Visit Six Flags Over Georgia Fright Fest

The hubby and I got invited to experience Six Flag Over Georgia's Fright Fest. I was so excited because I haven't been since I was a kid. The recommended age was 12+, so we decided to make a date night of it.

We experienced a behind the scenes experience and witnessed how each ghoulish creature is created by a team of make up artists. My husband's goal the entire night was to make sure I was scared and he would jump at me. It was actually a fun bonding experience and we felt like kids again. It was such a fun idea for a date night too!

Our First MLB Game In Years! {Atlanta Braves June 1, 2018}

As I have mentioned before and if you follow me on Instagram, then you know a few weeks back now that the Hubby was on a little vacation from work and we decided to have a staycation. We started the week off with a MLB game to see the Atlanta Braves at the new Sun Trust Park.

This was my first time going to a game in probably two years. Before we had kids, we would go to almost every Friday night game (in the cheap seats). But this time, Hubby got some complimentary tickets and parking through work which was nice, so we splurged on ball park food! We did bring in some snacks and water for everyone since you could bring in one per person.

Summer Fun at Stone Mountain Park

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know a few weeks ago my hubby was on vacation from work and we decided that we wanted to have a fun staycation. We started it off with a Braves game at the new Sun Trust Park, we also updated our membership and went to Zoo Atlanta, and then my husband got an email about a great on an All-Adventure passes at Stone Mountain Park. For basically $25 per person, we were able to do everything in the park and I didn't realize how much they had to offer!

All-Attraction passes include access to: Summit Skyride, Dinosaur Explore, Scenic Railroad, 4-D Theater, SkyHike®, Camp Highland Outpost, Geyser Towers®, Dinotorium, Great Locomotive Chase Adventure Golf, Historic Square, and Discovering Stone Mountain Museum.

Twisted Cyclone Blogger Media Day Recap

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that last week, my family and I were invited to a media day at Six Flags Over Georgia to celebrate the opening of rejuvenated "Twisted Cyclone". It is has been updated with a combination or wood and steel into one adrenaline-pumping coaster unlike any other at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Combining the traditional wood structure with a steel track, Twisted Cyclone sends guests upside down through three wicked inversions. Twisted Cyclone intertwines the best of both worlds- a classic wooden coaster with a modern, steel track for a hair-raising, over-the-top thrill ride. I have love the updates they have made. It is such a smooth ride and so much more fun than ever before!

Exploring Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon"

This past week was Winter Break for our local schools so we decided to take a trip camping. I have mentioned how much we love camping before because it get us a nice little getaway without breaking the bank and all of our Family's Camping Essentials. Since we are Friends of the Parks and just found out about it, we decided to join this club where basically what that means is if we hike four of Georgia's canyons then we get a t-shirt. We actually have already hiked three of them last year with full intentions of returning.

Since it is cooler this time of year, we decided to head down south to explore Providence Canyon which is also referred to as Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon". Hiking did get a little hot since we couldn't feel the breeze and it was unseasonally hot when we went, but it was so worth it.

Big Apple Circus {Wonderful Wednesday LINKY}

If you follow us on social media, then you know that we had the opportunity to go to the 40th Anniversary Big Apple Circus Debut in Alpharetta, GA as part of a media event. Tickets are still available for purchase. We had a wonderful time starting with the introduction by Ringmaster Ty McFarlan to the standing ovation. Our jaws dropped multiple times. We laughed thanks to Mr. Joel & Skip and the entire show kept us on the edge of our seats. We loved every minute of it and I was so glad that I received this opportunity to share with my kids.
Here some pictures I took during the first act. I wasn't great about taking pictures during the second act, but there's some great video of the highlights.

Enjoying the Cold Thanks to Snow Mountain at Stone Mountain

It has been unusually cold here in the Southeast thanks to that drastic climate change. My husband and I are from the south so we aren't use to this type of weather. What seems to make it the worst is that we didn't get any snow at our house so what was the point of all the cold? We love going to Stone Mountain. We love hiking the trails and everything else they have to offer. This time of year they have something called Snow Mountain and we wanted to see what it was all about.

My husband suggested last week that we take the kids. Our favorite thing to do is create memories with our children. I love giving the gift of experience instead of physical gifts. So we decided to look into buying passes. Their site suggested to buy tickets in advance so we did. With your pass you were able to get two hours of snow tubing and all day of playing in the snow. There were also options available for food as well as their additional activities, but we were just there for the snow.

Experience the Thrill of the Holidays at Six Flags Over Georgia's Holiday In The Park

I love experiencing everything the holidays have to offer. Six Flags Over Georgia has open it's doors for an extended season for the third year in a row to bring you more of your favorite attractions with a Christmas spin. My family recently had the opportunity to check out Six Flag's Holiday in the Park at a Media and Blogger Event. We received complimentary parking and entry, food vouchers, line hopper vouchers, and other swag as well.
The event was set to start at 4 pm (Holiday in the Park hours varies but 4-10 is the average norm), but my husband had to work until 4. We made it to Six Flags around 5:15 so we didn't miss the tree lighting that started at 6pm.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis Opens at Six Flags Over Georgia {Media Day Recap}

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that last week, my family and I were invited to a media day at Six Flags Over Georgia to celebrate the opening of "JUSTICE LEAGUE: Battle for Metropolis". It is the only ride of its kind in the Southeast. It's an indoor, interactive, action thrill ride with 4D effects for the entire family to experience together and features iconic DC Comics Super Heroes and Super Villains like Batman, Wonder Woman, and the Joker. It was also voted one of the most anticipated theme park rides for 2017!

I can't even describe how excited we were for this event.

5 Reasons to Visit Georgia Aquarium

A little while back my husband and I took the kiddos to the Georgia Aquarium. It was my son's first time going. Watching their faces as they were looking at everything was such a beautiful experience. So I have made a list of our top reasons to visit the Georgia Aquarium.

Exploring High Falls State Park

In our efforts to start a healthier lifestyle, my husband and I have taken up hiking again. We are not trying to lose weight; we are trying to get more active and eat a balanced diet. My husband's birthday was on Monday, so we decided to take a trip over to High Falls State Park since we had never been before. Located northwest of Macon, High Falls State Park is named for tumbling cascades on the Towaliga River. Boat rental, ramps and fishing docks provide easy access to the park’s lake, known as one of Georgia’s top fishing spots for hybrid and white bass.

Exploring High Falls State Park

The day started a little chilly, but it has been feeling like Spring almost nearly day here in Georgia, so it did warm up. It was actually the perfect day. Not too hot, not too cold, slight overcast so the sun didn't beat down on us. My will-be-three-in-March son decided his 30 lb. self wouldn't walk most of the way and of course we forgot our Lillebaby carrier, so my poor husband carried him most of the time.

Stone Mountain for My Bday

Thanks, Momma!

Lizzie and I spent the night with my mom the night before.
We went to Target beforehand to get some snacks and stuff where I bought this cheapo carrier that sucked...or maybe I'm just bad at babywearing...
It was hard to find a spot I felt comfortable nursing. :C
I was going to feed her in the 4D theater, BUT it scared her and she was inconsolable.
My niece and nephews did the rock climb, but I had to let Caleb borrow my shoes. So my mom basically bought me an upgraded pass so I could watch the laser show. :/
I seriously felt really bad about that, but she said it was okay as long as I had a good birthday gift.
Which I did.

Still had a good time. And I finally got a good nursing session in right before the fireworks, which she just slept right through!

Fun times!
