We are still rear facing my son, although he has picked up this habit of screaming in the car because he was bored. It was a playful scream and I think it was just to get his sister to pay attention to him. I have tried giving him toys to play with, but he throws them all down. LOL So when I was sent the GooGah Baby Car Mirror to review, I was pretty excite because I thought that this might be something that would keep him entertained while I was driving.


I loved being able to see him in the car. It also made it where he would no longer scream while I was driving down the road. He would just make faces at himself in the mirror. The extra large wide angle convex infant car mirror is shatter proof so that every new mom can feel secure with no worries. Installation was very easy once I paid attention to the directions. I was never very good at pumping. I think it was pump, specifically my nipple shields, but that is another story all together. But when I did need to pump, the number one thing I hated (besides actually pumping) was warming up the bottles for baby.

I remember seeing these two pinks lines like it was yesterday. It was very early in the morning, around 4 a.m. or so. I wasn't due for my period for a few more days, but I wanted to test because I just had that feeling. I wanted to wait until the morning because HTC levels are suppose to be highest then. I'm going to tell you a story that not many people know about. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was a nanny and use to take them regularly to this bounce house place. It was a little bit of a drive from their house, but totally worth it because the kids loved it. One day, my friend had invited us to come jump and I noticed that the girl I was watching had a dirty diaper. No big deal, they had awesome family restrooms. My friend watched the little boy I cared for while I went and changed the diaper.

 

The diaper was a bad one. So bad, I couldn't stand the smell and started getting sick. Actually, this was normal for me. I had terrible morning sickness with my first pregnancy, the difference this time.

My son is still crawling although he is taking steps here and there. But at my in-laws where there is all hard wood floor he likes to mostly crawl still because he's not only unsure of the surface, I think he feels it's faster to crawl. But if he is wearing anything with pants, he slips and slides everywhere.

Summer is HERE in Georgia and we recently headed to Six Flags White Water for an awesome VIP media day event! My husband was on vacation last week, so we brought the whole family to enjoy all that Six Flags White Water had to offer including their newest AND tallest water slide ever - Dive Bomber!

I am extremely nervous when it comes to heights. I wasn't always this way, but it seems to get worse the older I get. I really wanted to ride Dive Bomber, so when I could give a good first person review. This slide features an enclosed, clear capsule with a trap door that releases riders for a zero-gravity experience, a tower approximately 100 feet above the lush tree line of the park, a nearly 90-degree drop, and speeds of more than 40 miles per hour.

I am so excited for summer, which I know I have mentioned a time or two already. LOL But it is true! It has been raining quite a bit here in my part of Georgia as I know it has all over the country. So I was very excited when we got to use our newest outside toy item, which was the Treasure hunt Sand & Water Table from Little Tikes. Since it has been so rainy lately, I just put water in it, but I have some sand that I will put in it later.

From the moment we received this box, my kids were in heaven! They both were so excited to explore with what was inside. The Little Tikes Treasure Hunt Sand & Water Table was super easy to put together. All the pieces fit in place perfectly and I had no trouble at all reading the directions.

I don't know if I have really talked about this before. It is something that is very personal to me. I wanted to have children for as long as I can remember. Children were always a part of my life goals. So when I met my hubby, that was one of the FIRST things I asked him, if he wanted to have children. We got married relatively young, I was 21 and he was 23. And we both knew we wanted to be married at least a year before we got married, but then one turned into two then two and a half...

 

 

At family events, people would ask us constantly when we were going to try to have a baby. They would really ask me specifically. Which if you think about it, it's really too personal of a question for anyone to ask. But it was still very difficult to have to just shrug and smile, when inside I felt like crying because I was yearning for a baby. And it felt like everyone around me was getting pregnant and although I was happy, I was a little bit envious as well. Especially when it "just happened". Well why didn't it "just happen" for me?
