Grandparent's Day Craft Free Printable

 I am happy as can BEE because the best Grandparents belong to me! I was searching for an easy printable craft to make with my 2k preschoolers for Grandparents Day. I found some on Esty, but they either had spelling errors or they weren't at the price point that I thought was fair to other teachers, especially private school preschool teachers. Since I am pretty handy at making printables, I thought I would give it a shot. A free bee image later and here is what I came up with. ENJOY!

The most effective way to get kids interested in learning is to provide them with fun activities that encourage them to learn. These printables are great for young children because they make learning fun and easy.

Besides encouraging children's vocabulary development, they also provide an opportunity to teach them letter recognition and much more. Here are nine printable activities that will boost your kid’s interest in reading.

Free Printable Classroom Valentine for Fidget Toys

Valentine's Day is right around the corner. Looking for a non-candy kids valentine idea? I have been trying to be a little creative each year with my kid's school valentines. Thanks for Making My Valentine's Day POPPIN' {Free Printable Classroom Handout for Fidget Toys}

I remember handing out valentines in school. You spent the day making a box to keep them in. There are so many creative boxes now. When I was in school it was just a shoebox and I think the most creative that I ever saw was someone made a mailbox. That's what I love about Pinterest because you can find so much inspiration. I have found so many easy Valentine Box ideas. Pop Its allow for people to give their bodies something to keep themselves occupied, which permits them to focus on learning in class, reading or whatever the activity may be. Due to fidgeting behavior becoming common among adolescents, more products are being designed to support this habit

"You've Been Booed" - Halloween Sharing Treats

Halloween time is here! I love celebrating every holiday to it's fullest and if I can take this time of year to show my neighbors or people close to me how much they mean to me, then that is what I am going to do. When we first moved into our neighborhood, someone sent us a neighborhood Christmas gram and we never figured out who did it, but it was such a fun idea! I wish I had taken a picture of it. So I have decided this All Hallows Eve (Spooky Season) season that I would share a fun printable to get into the spirit and share spooky treats with my neighbors. With Boo Baskets becoming a trend again, this a fun kid-friendly option that they will surely love!

This year, all my goodies came from Oriental Trading because they have everything you need for a one stop Halloween shop at a great price. They have exclusive candy items like Unicorn Poop marshmallows, costumes for the entire family, decorations that range from spooky to seasonal, graphic tees for all, and so much more. I love working with them and it's has been one of my go to shopping places since my mom told me about them years ago. She loved shopping there for supplies for her classroom when she was a teacher.

Scrunchie Trendy Valentine Idea

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I was trying to think about what my daughter and I have created together for her to hand out to her class mates. From everything to a homemade Unicorn Valentine Box to easy, no fuss printables. This year I wanted to create something trendy that I knew she would enjoy handing out. Plus I am always trying to think of new non-candy Valentine ideas that kids or even teenagers will actually enjoy.

When I was trying to think about what to make with my daughter for our annual Valentine school handouts, I tried to think about the things she likes. As she thinks being a VSCO girl is the new hip thing (she is only in third grade after all), she loves her Hydroflask, saving the sea turtles one metal straw at a time, and of course scunchies. So I thought, why not create a cute printable for my readers that would make the perfect, non-candy school hand out.

First of all, what is a VSCO girl?

"Not All Heroes Wear Capes" Teacher Edition - Free Coloring Sheet

If virtual learning has taught me anything, it is that I am NOT cut out to be a teacher. And everything our public teachers are having to deal with is so much on their plates. At my children's school they are having to figure out how to do a hybrid learning situation for those in class and online at the same time, all while trying to keep everyone engaged, paying attention, and on task. That has to be so stressful. So along with my nurse/doctor printable coloring page that I made back in March, I have decided to create this "Not All Heroes Wear Capes" Free Coloring Page about teachers.

Bring Home Abominable TODAY + Giveaway

I received a complimentary copy of ABOMINABLE from Dreamworks Animation to provide this post. But, as always, all opinions are my own.

If you have been following me on Instagram, then you know my daughter had a slumber party for her 9th birthday. She had so much fun! We played games and made ornament crafts, but the hit of the night was getting to watch ABOMINABLE.

ABOMINABLE is “an epic, colorful journey home. Beautiful and exhilarating to behold” (Glenn Kenny, The New York Times). From the studio that brought you How to Train Your Dragon, this heartwarming and humorous story follows teenage Yi (Bennet) as she encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in China, she and her mischievous friends, Jin (Trainor) and Peng (Tsai), name him “Everest” and embark on an epic quest to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth. But the trio of friends will have to stay one-step ahead of Burnish (Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing a Yeti, and zoologist Dr. Zara (Paulson) to help Everest get home.

Easy Teacher Gift Idea {Dunkin Donuts Gift Card Free Printable}

I know I have already shared some Teacher Appreciation gifts with all of you, but I have one more that I created and I wanted to share with all of you. Dunkin Donuts is a popular place where we live because it is the closest coffee shop around. I love giving all types of gift cards to my kid's teachers because I feel like they will get the most use out of them and if not, they are easier to trade in. But I love these pun-filled free gift card printables.

If you didn't give a gift around Christmas and completely forgot Teacher Appreciation Week, then end of the year parties (right before summer break) are a perfect time to show those people that have influenced your child's life just how much they mean. One of my favorite radio stations did a poll about what Teachers actually want and don't want. Here are the results:

Thanks for Making Me Brighter - Teacher Appreciation Gift & Free Printable

Teacher Appreciation Week 2019 in the United States of America will begin on Monday, May 6 and end on Friday, May 10. At my daughter's school they do something different each day with a theme. I have linked some below that I have used as well. I love making printable and they have seriously made my life so much easier in the past for cute gift ideas. I made a Chick-fil-a Gift card printable last year that I shared at Christmas.

If you saw our Unicorn Easter Basket, then you know I was sent some Hallu bath bombs and I thought what a perfect opportunity to create something new to show appreciation to the many teachers in my children's lives. I created this printable so you can easily give a cute little Teacher Appreciation gift that they are sure to love. Simply click the image below to print. You can make it smaller with your printer settings and then print more to a page like I did (since we have three teachers not including PE and music teachers) or you can make a card. This could even be a cute gift for a dance or gymnastics (etc.) instructor as well.
