Merry Christmas! + Nutrisystem Results

I received complimentary products from Nutrisystem to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

My daughter was out of school this week, so on Monday we headed to Zoo Atlanta with my sister-in-law and some of our friends. It was a lot of fun and I got a lot of steps in. We brought in our lunches and I had a great discussion about Nutrisystem and the great eating habits it has taught me. Tuesday I cleaned the house top to bottom to getting ready for company and wrapped all of the kiddos' presents from us.

Losing Weight during the Holidays
I know I mentioned last week that we were going to go to The Varsity on Christmas Eve, but it has been very rainy in Georgia with flash flood watches so we decided to stay at my in-laws and have a nice steak dinner. I still can't believe my father-in-law went to the grocery store that morning.

Christmas wasn't the best day for me. Since my Daddy passed, it's been a sad day. I can't explain the type of sadness it is. I know I'm not suppose to be sad because it's Christmas, but I burst out crying multiple times. He would have been 66 on the 16th.

On top of that, I think my endometriosis is coming back. It's not a huge deal right because we don't have any plans on trying for another baby anytime soon, but the pain is getting nearly intolerable. And it doesn't help with my emotional state either. Exhaustion played a huge factor as well.

So here are the stats:

I'm going to start a new vitamin regimen in the new year that I will talk more about later. My take away from Nutrisystem; I have learned better portion sizes, how to get more veggies in, consuming enough water is key, 30 minutes of activity is important too, and protein is awesome for energy.
It was hard keeping up with Nutrisystem for dinners. Making a separate meal for me was hard when I had to cook them something different. Sometimes I would make my Hubby something from Nutrisystem too and if we were doing it together, then dinners would have been a lot easier. I liked that I have learned to make more veggies in our dinner and that the kids are learning to eat them more.

The weather sure was icky here. Sorry to hear about your uterus, too. I think mine hates me and I don't have a diagnosed reason why.
