Nutrisystem Week 3 Update #NSNation

I received complimentary 3-month Nutrisystem plan to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

So I only lost a pound and a half. I was bad about recording my calories, I didn't drink enough water, and I didn't get my exercise in every day. But a loss is a loss and I'll take it.

The biggest hurdle this week? Getting my family to eat dinner. I have been incorporating what I have been learning into my family's diet. So that means more veggies, less processed meats and heavy carbs. My husband jumped right on board with this plan, but my kids aren't accepting the change quite as easily. My son is more willing to work on it than my daughter, but she is starting to try more.

We Had a lot of fall fun this week.
On Friday, we went to my daughter's future school for a little fall festival they had going on and then on Saturday we went to the square with my husband's family to check out the scare crows again. We didn't to eat at the little diner again and I had the yummy spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette. And then later we went to where my daughter dances (Gym Tech 4 Kids) for some festivities they had going on there. They have an open gym for 1-5 year on Monday & Thursdays mornings. I am going to start taking my son and hopefully get in a little gym time for myself. :)

So here are my stats thus far:
Starting Weight: 238 {View Post}
Week 1: 230 {View Post}
Week 2: 224 {View Post}
Week 3: 223

So down a total of 15 lbs. I'll take it! Average weightloss to maintain a healthy lifestyle is 2 pounds, so it's okay that I'm not losing as fast as I was before. Nutrisystem has been helping me learn what a healthy lifestyle is by learning portion control, daily caloric intake, water intake, consuming enough veggies, and exercise.

 What are biggest hurdles with weightloss?
