Easy Summer Snacks for Toddlers

My son is a picky eater. It's not really that he's picky but getting nutrients into him is a hassle. He likes to "snack" and I don't mind providing snacks as long as they are good for him too. Recently, a friend of mine introduced us to Gerber Lil' Beanies. They are made with navy beans and provide 2g of protein per serving. She had brought them to ball practice, and I thought, "that's the perfect go-to summertime toddler snack". They are easily portable, and my son loves them, so it's definitely a win-win for me.

While shopping at Kroger, we decided to grab a few.

Potty Training Made Easy with Kandoo Kids

My son has just started showing more serious signs of potty training. With his personality, I need to make it FUN! And with summer being potty training season, I thought I would get serious about this potty training thing. He has no interest in sitting on the potty, so his daddy has been helping him.

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

It's going slow, so I was excited to get the chance to review a new Potty Training Kit from Kandoo to help make this journey a little easier.

This kit includes awesome essentials to make potty training a breeze! For only $20, the following items are included:

Toddler Have an Unhappy Tummy? Try KABRITA! + Giveaway

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

Does your little one suffer from colic, constipation, congestion, digestive discomfort, or eczema related to cow milk sensitivity? KABRITA Goat Milk Formula is made with naturally easy to digest goat milk, which is closer in composition to human milk than cow milk. It moves through the body at about the same rate as breast milk, resulting in less digestive discomfort sometimes caused by the 'churn' of breaking down larger proteins.

In addition to being naturally easy to digest, KABRITA Goat Milk formula is non-GMO and has a mild, sweet and fresh taste and smell. It is a safe, effective and nutritious alternative to homemade goat milk formula recipes. Nutritionally enhanced goat milk formula with 22 vitamins and minerals including folic acid, DHA, ARA, and iron.

Personality Based Potty Training with Pull-Ups + Giveaway

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

My son turned TWO! Where does the time go? His little personality is showing that he has definitely two. Others have told me that it tends to be a boy thing because he can get so aggressive one moment and then so sweet the next. Whatever it is, it's something new for me.

Kids' Candor Subscription Box Review + Giveaway

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

I love subscription boxes, especially ones for my kiddos. So when I had the opportunity to try out Kids' Candor, I of course jumped at the chance. What make Kids’ Candor unique is the fact that it is the first bilingual (English/Spanish) program that provides tools and guidance to educate children from birth until preschool through quality human interactions with their parents/caregivers.

Every month you will receive one kit with everything you need to foster an optimal early child development. Each kit is specifically crafted for your child’s age and development stage. Their comprehensive curriculum encompasses original music, educational activity materials, games, toys, and easy-to-use guide cards. Finding educational games where my child can actually learn, but I don't have to run around to a million different stores to find all the right stuff is hard. But Kids' Candor has taken out all the leg work for you.

Unboxing the Bumby Box - Toddler Edition

I received complimentary products to provide this review. All opinions are my own.

I am a HUGE fan of subscription boxes. I love discovering new products that are picked for me or my kiddos. I was recently introduced to the Bumby Box. Bumby Box is a monthly and quarterly subscription service that provides boxes of handpicked toys and activities for children between the ages of 0-5. Every single one of their toys and activities are specially chosen to support open ended play, parent-child interaction, and child development milestones. They’re also deeply committed to the well being of little ones, and are careful to only select toys that are made from sustainable, non-toxic materials.

I had taken a peek before this picture was taken, so I re-tied the bow. Oops.
You can choose between preschool (3 to 5 years old), toddler (15 months to 2 years), and infant (newborn to 14 months). A quarter box is $99.99 and a monthly $49.99 with subscription and gift options available as well. We received the toddler box for my little man since his birthday would coming up soon. They asked me about what milestones he might have coming up as well. Here's what was in our box:

Two Years Ago...

My son is turning TWO in a week and a half. Where does the time go? It feels like yesterday I was sharing his birth story....four months late. His little personality is showing that he has definitely started turning two. Others have told me that it tends to be a boy thing because he can get so aggressive one moment and then so sweet the next. Whatever it is, it's something new for me.

Diono Radian RXT Giveaway, Ends 2/26

With the chilly temperatures outside, most of us are bundled into our winter clothes and snow gear to stay warm. If you have kids, it's pretty likely that at some time or another you've overdressed them to the point where they can't move.

Unfortunately, even with the good intentions of keeping our little ones safe, we might be putting them in more danger by combining winter outerwear and car seats. Ruth from Viva Veltoro has all the information you need from Allana Pinkerton, Certified Child Passenger Safety Instructor and Global Safety Advocate for Diono, to educate yourself about the dangers of your children wearing puffy coats while in their car seats. Make sure you check out her post for a full list of Do's and Don'ts when it comes to winter car seat safety.
Diono wants your little ones to be the safest they can be, so they're giving one lucky person a Diono Radian RXT Convertible + Booster Car Seat!

The last one is my son's favorite. They also have some freeze dried snacks that come in Apple/Green Pea/Pineapple, Mango/Sweetcorn/Apple, and Banana/Sweet Corn/Blueberry. Our Formula for Happiness

When I was pregnant with my son, I was worried how a new little person would fit into our family. Newborns need so much attention and I was worried how my toddler would feel. But as soon as we came home from the hospital, my little man fit into our family. We have a system set up and it has helped us find our formula for happiness.

A Good Night's Rest with Snugg Organic My Little Big Pillow

I received complimentary products to provide this review. All opinions are my own.

When did you first introduce a pillow to your little one? My little man is a toddler whether I want to accept it or not. He is still in his crib and no attempts to climb out...yet! So we are going to keep him in there as long as possible. I'm also pretty particular about what I let go in his crib. He's old enough now where SIDS isn't as big of a risk, but that doesn't mean it still isn't a concern of mine. So I went back and forth on a pillow for him. Then Hubby asked, "When do they start sleeping with pillows?"

So when I received the opportunity to review the Snugg Organic My Little Big Pillow, I thought well here's my chance to see if he's ready. Of course the first night (and second and third), I kept the baby monitor off of VOX mode so I could see him at all times. But he was fine and I think we made a good choice in toddler pillows.

My Little Pre-Walker {pediped Originals Giveaway, Ends 5/2}

Thank you to pediped® for the products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

I have mentioned my son's lack of walking a time or two now. I'm not worried because he keeps improving daily PLUS my daughter didn't full on walk until 14 months and my mother-in-law says my husband didn't until 15 months. I also don't want to rush him because as I've mentioned, he might be our last baby and plus once he is mobile, he will be into EVERYTHING!

In the mean time, when we go out, he has been sporting the super cute pediped® Originals. pediped® footwear is a smart choice for parents concerned with the long-term development of their children's feet. pediped has been awarded the America Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance for creating shoes that promote healthy foot development. pediped® originals are the best shoe on the market for infants and children who are learning to walk.

The Importance of DHA in Your Toddler’s Diet

I received compensation and free Enfagrow products for this post.Tracking Pixel

Importance of DHA in Your Toddler's Diet

Major infant brain growth occurs during pregnancy and throughout the first two years of life. During these times, infants and toddlers have the greatest need for Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid and a building block for the brain. Since 85% of brain growth happens within the first three years of a child’s life, it is important to maintain the recommended levels of DHA through the toddler years.

Reading to Your Baby with DK Books

I received a complimentary Toddler Book Pack from DK Publishing for the purposes of review. All opinions are mine.

Reading to your baby/toddler is very important. Hearing your voice and saying different words is how they learn to talk. It is also very beneficial for them socially. And what you read to your little one is very important as well. DK is a best-selling and award-winning children’s publisher with a crop of titles for babies and toddlers. DK books for early learners are perfect for children ages 0 to 3 and help provide a fun, hands-on playtime experience for babies and toddlers. DK books contain bright pictures, easy-to-read text, novelty features and more to excite and engage little ones. So when I received the opportunity to review a few titles from DK Publishing, I was very excited to share them with my 5 month old and 3 year old.
