Essentials to Throw an Epic End of Summer Party Bash

The end of summer is coming for many. What ways do you try to celebrate the end of summer and start of the new school year?

This list goes far beyond sunscreen and bug spray. Here are some of my essential products to help you throw an awesome end of summer party that will rock the whole neighborhood!

Some products were received for promotional purposes. All opinions are my own.

Create a Fun Atmosphere

Who doesn't love bubbles?! Bubbles and other special effects always add to the fun and excitement of a party or family event. Froggy’s Fog, a company that provides the special effect machines/systems to Broadway shows, concerts and amusement parks, is now offering an at-home product to consumers called Fobbles, a new 4 in 1 home unit that provides not only bubbles but fog, haze and fog-filled bubbles. Fobbles takes family fun and party entertainment to the next level and can be enjoyed throughout the year. Fobbles is lightweight, compact and easy to operate. In addition, it delivers water-based, non-toxic (pharmaceutical-grade) fog, haze, bubbles and fog-filled bubbles. See how it works HERE.

Supply Fun Activities

With fun outdoor toys like Bunch O Balloons Marvel Avengers, Bunch O Balloons Slingshot, and X-Shot Hurricane Hydro, you can cool your guests off in a whole new way without investing an expensive swimming pool! You can also find other awesome toys like the Goliath Games Rocket Fishing Rod and the Goliath Hydro Zoom Ball.

Invest In Quality Lighting

Transform Your Backyard into a Cozy Oasis and Retreat: The Ambience Pro Outdoor String Lights will create a beautiful backyard atmosphere where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening. These vintage Edison string lights with exposed filaments give off a warm, nostalgic glow so that you can come home after a busy day and enjoy your very own retreat. Ambiance Pro lights are bright enough to dine under without a glare so that you can enjoy your dinner outdoors on a nice evening.

Make Some Yummy Food

We love grilling hot wings or smoking a Boston butt on my brother-in-law's Big Green Egg. We also like to make popsicles. My favorite recipe that I have recently created is Fruit Punch Infused Popsicles. We have also made some Orange Soda Pop, but you could make any kind with soda.

We love buying some Southside Market & Barbeque original beef sausage to grill out for family and friends. It is known by locals and old-timers as "Elgin Hot Sausage" or simply "Hot Guts". Southside Market has been selling meat since 1882. Once from a horse drawn wagon and sold door-to-door, you can now purchase Southside’s premium seasoning blends, smoked meats, and sauces online. From Sausage Slammers with a fresh jalapeño half filled with real cheddar cheese to Smoked Beef Brisket, you can't go wrong with Southside Market. Check out our delicious Creamy Pasta Salad and Shrimp Sausage Veggie Skillet for more summer recipes.

You can even consider making pizza for your summer party. You probably think it's going to be complicated to make pizza, but we’ve found if you prepare pizza in an air fryer it’s incredibly simple and won’t even take a lot of time. It’s a great choice too because who doesn’t love pizza?

As you can see, there are some fantastic choices when throwing a summer party and it’s the perfect way to end the season. You just need to make sure that you prepare some delicious food, set up the perfect environment and ensure that there’s some great entertainment for kids and adults alike.

What are some of your essentials to throw an EPIC summer party?

  2. We don't throw parties. We live in a private area and no children so it is nice and quiet. However our friend throws parties for the neighborhood a couple of times a year so I will pass these great tips on to her! :)

  3. We always play games like corn hole with 2 person teams. You are partnered with someone that is not your spouse. It is a great way to get to meet and talk to people that you don't know.
