Easiest Way to SHAKE into Creative Marketing

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Shake by IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have considered myself a content creator for a few years now. Have you ever thought about starting your own business in the field of Creative Influencer Marketing? It has been a great way to work from home and provide for my family while creating my own flexible schedule. But it is still a very unknown field with many different variables. How do I monetize my content? How do I find people willing to pay for my work? What if no one notices me? What are other creators charging? This post isn't about how to start your own blog, but this is a revolutionary way I have found to get you on the track to monetizing your creative content.

Shake into Creative Marketing

I have just come across a new marketplace for creators hosted by IZEA that takes so many unknowns out of the equation. It's called Shake. The platform helps individual influencers, photographers, writers and musicians collaborate and transact with marketers. How it works is you can create a profile on Shake with all of your optional services, rates, example work, basically like a resume! You can share what you have to offer, whether that is Instagram posts, content writing, photography. Creatives list “Shakes” on the site and Marketers buy creative deals through a streamlined chat experience, assisted by ShakeBot™. Plus you can find other creators that are similar to you and see what they are charging as well. Then brands will notice you, what you have to off, and hire you based on your rates.

How to Unsubscribe From Emails

I have been having a few people comment on my blog saying that they are having trouble unsubscribing, the issue is usually coming from non-Google emails subscribers. I have always used a RSS feed called FeedBurner to share my posts through emails. They are just sent as I post, which I understand some people may not enjoy. I also understand that if you only subscribed as part of a giveaway and you no longer enter them, then you may want to unsubscribe. Or you may no longer enjoy my content, no hard feelings. Anyway, I wanted to send this out and hopefully the ones who are having issues will see this and can finally successfully unsubscribe.

How to Unsubscribe From FeedBurner Emails

If you don't have a Google email, then you should see a unsubscribe at the top instead of at the bottom. It should be (at least in Yahoo) above the email address lines. This is the only way I know how to unsubscribe. If you are still having issues, then you may need to contact Google directly about this issue. I apologize for the inconvenience, but there is not way for me to manually go in and take you off the mailing list. I have had more blog for over 10 years now and have since drifted away from using FeedBurner.

When I click unsubscribe, I see the image below. And have successfully unsubscribed to my own site. If you do not see this screen below, then you may have to contact Google directly.

As of now the only other way to subscribe to my posts (which is more efficient if you like everything in one nice email) is BlogLovin. Thank you for following along all these years and I'm sorry again for the inconvenience.

****UPDATE****

If you wish to be unsubscribed from my FeedBurner email list, I have figured out how to remove you manually. But to do this, you must email me (diana.n.chastain@gmail.com) as I can't see your email address when you comment here. Thank you so much!

Rise of the Digital Asset Manager – Everything You Need to Know

These days more businesses than ever before are turning to DAM software as a means to store their company’s digital files and most valuable assets. As businesses are becoming more and more digitized, it's commonplace for organizations to have thousands of files, ranging from data sheets and sales materials to presentations, marketing documents, product photography and video, as well as website and written content.

Rise of the Digital Asset Manager – everything you need to know

A Digital Asset Management system keeps all these files in one easy to manage place. Using a powerful, Google-style search criterion, employees can find the specific file they need within seconds. Version control capabilities, user groups and permission profiles keep these files up to date and protected, making DAM software an essential part of any organization.

While the implementation of DAM software can help streamline workflows across your department or company, businesses can still benefit from someone at the helm of this powerful organization tool. This is where the role of a Digital Asset Manager comes in.

Tips to Become a Social Media Influencer

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

It is still a very new profession to consider - social media influencer. Whether you want to become famous on the internet, supplement your income, share your passion, or even discover a whole new career that you love. I have been in the social media world since my friend introduced me over a decade and a half ago and I have never looked back. I have loved social media before I even knew of it's potential. And now I get to share my life with the world with the touch of a fingertip.

So how to become a social media influencer? Here are my tips.

How to Become a Product Review Blogger

People ask me all the time "how did I get into product reviewing and making money blogging". My journey into this job (that I love) is unconventional. I started just keeping track of my pregnancy with my daughter. While on bed rest, I had heard that you could make money blogging, but it was a penny a word type stuff and I didn't feel that was worth it for me. I took a break for a while from my blog because it was hard to keep up with it and a newborn. I picked it up again when my daughter was almost two. But since I was a stay-at-home mom (with no car for 6 months), I started trying to connect with other bloggers, so I could feel a sense of community and for some adult interaction. And I noticed other bloggers getting products to review. So I pitched one. I pitched a lot actually, but the first company that took a chance on me was Buddy Fruits. And since then this wonderful endeavor has opened up so many opportunities for me.

There are a few things you should note if you are going to try to get into this business:
1. You have to be able to meet personal deadlines.
2. You have to be able to follow through on any commitments you make.
3. You have to understand that this isn't just about "getting free stuff". It's a LOT of work.

So how do you become a product review blogger?

Sites to Monetize Your Blog

This list contains affiliate links.

I have been blogging "as work" for over 2 years now and I have learned a LOT along the way. When I first started trying to make money on my blog back was back in 2010. I signed up through all these different companies and websites not knowing what I was looking for and never found anything that I felt was worth my time. But when I started trying to expand my blog in 2012, it was more for hobby and then I thought I could review a few items here and there because I saw other bloggers doing just that. So I reached out to a few companies. And it worked. But that's a post for another day. And then I found out that I could really make money, if I invested more money into my blog. But that's also a post for another day. This post is all about the sites that you can work with to help monetize your blog because they have worked for me.
