Gender Neutral Baby Shower Gift Ideas

When husband and I got pregnant with our son, I asked him if we could wait until delivery to find out what we were having. I had heard about gender regret and didn't want that to be an issue for us. I don't know if I would have been upset if we had another girl or not. I truly think I just wanted to have a healthy baby, but I knew my husband wanted a boy. So I convinced him to wait.

My husband's cousin offered to throw us a shower because she said, "Every baby deserves to be celebrated." My mother-in-law asked me, "well what do you need? Don't you already have everything?" Good question. Because if we were having a boy, no we didn't have everything because we would need clothes. But we weren't finding out, so what do you get the couple who isn't finding out AND this isn't their first baby?

So here is a list of things that were great for us to receive, my favorite baby shower gifts in general, and hopefully they will help you with some ideas too.

Save On Pampers With A High Value Coupon In This Sunday’s Paper! #PampersSavings

This post and giveaway were made possible by iConnect and Pampers. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
My youngest is in diapers and honestly I can’t wait until he is in undies! We just started the potty training process and he isn't as eager as I would like. But that's okay, no pressure. I use to coupon and still do for baby products like diapers and wipes! I have been a huge fan of the Pampers brand since my daughter was an infant and on May 29, 2016 there will be a high value coupon you can use in grocery and discount stores where baby products are sold.

Do you like to save money and have little ones?

Tips to Introduce a Pacifier

When I was pregnant, I had the idea in my head that we wouldn't use pacifiers. I didn't like them because I read that they can effect breastfeeding in a negative way and that an older child can become too dependent on them. Well, a many of sleepless nights later, we decided to introduce a pacifier to our baby.

I participated in a Blog Blast Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’gosh. I received an Oshkosh B’gosh gift card to thank me for my participation.

Every year the kids (mine and all the cousins) get pajamas to wear on Christmas morning. I love this tradition and since SweetPea just turned 4 and Peanut is only 9 months, I need to go to a place where they have a wide range of children's clothing, but has super cute fashions as well.

That's where Oshkosh B'gosh comes into play. OshKosh B’gosh, a trusted name for fun, high-quality children’s clothing, inspires us all to #GIVEHAPPY with their latest designs and fashions for holiday. And with this exclusive coupon, you can score 25% off your $30 purchase or more!

Click image to view full size and print for in-store use.

This coupon is valid in store or online, use their Store Locator to find a location near you. Even if you don't have an OshKosh B’gosh near you, the online store features the same great deals and fashions!

Just because your children are a little older doesn’t mean they can’t still wear OshKosh B’gosh! Many people don’t realize that OshKosh B’gosh offers clothing for children sizes 0 -12! So while you're out, why not make a pit stop and make sure to #GiveHappy!

Little man is discovering foods. He has 4 teeth now...yes FOUR! And so he has been testing out more and more solids...within reason. He isn't a fan of baby food anymore, he just one day went through a phase of not wanting to eat it. And for a while breastmilk was satisfying him. But then he wanted something more. And before he had teeth I had NO idea what to do. He would try to gum some bread here and there. But then when we were on vacation, we grabbed some Gerber Wagon Wheels and he was in heaven!

Weekly Totals - Publix - Saved 89%!

Kind of disappointed in myself on this trip. I was distracted at check out and they were out of some of the items I really wanted/needed. Plus my printer was having connection issues so I didn't get all of the high value coupons from Coupons.com before they were gone. So not my best after all that planning. :(

Anyways here is what I got. Please remember between the two stores I go they double coupons, do half price BOGO, & accept Target/Ingles/Kroger as competitors.

Mid Week Trip - Publix - Saved 90%!

I needed bread and toilet paper. I saw the deal on Playtex infant items and knew I should stock up for little man since I only have girl ones (and most of them are broken). Wish I had the Publix Baby Club coupon to make them moneymakers, but it's okay because they were a GREAT deal!

Weekly Totals - Publix - Saved 72%!

I'm excited for this trip because I stocked up on some produce that we really needed. I might go back and grab some more resolve because with two kids (one who is a boy), I'm going to definitely need it and at $0.50 who couldn't pass it up! ;D The FREE (actually money making) sausage, I'm SUPER excited about because I have a recipe I want to share with all of you and I was waiting for a deal on sausage, so now I can! :D (Yes, I use too many emoticons. ;P)
I also want to thank my mom for all the coupons she gave me on Mother's Day because if I wasn't for her this trip would have not been possible.

So this is what I got:

Weekly Totals - Saved 62%!

I had planned a bigger haul at Publix but my computer was having issues connecting to the printer. It wasn't the printer because I printed the Cheerios coupons from my iPad with no problem. But have no clue what is going on because it printed my shopping list. It seems something with JavaScript, maybe.

So you might see stuff from this sale on to next week's weekly savings post. I decided to head to Kroger first. You got a $3 Catalina when you bought 6 qualifying General Mills products and since I need canned veggies plus my Publix takes Kroger as a competitor, I stopped there first. I got super lucky on that Starbucks coffee deal! And then when I came home, there was an iBotta offer for ANY brand bread! I saved 62% after iBotta savings. I did the picture before I figured in those savings. To learn more about iBotta, you can view my post HERE. New users don't get $10 anymore, but you still get $5! :D So anyways, let's see how I did this week.
