What did you do this summer? I did a lot of disconnecting from the social media and just enjoyed being in the moment. It can sometimes be hard since social media basically is my job right now, but it was so good for my family to see me not behind a screen, but actually in the moment. We went to so many baby showers, birthday parties, and we enjoyed family night every weekend.

It's Christmas in July! And I wanted to talk to you today about Ugly Christmas Sweater parties and matching family Christmas jammies? What are you thoughts? I always have so much fun matching my kiddos' pajamas and they actually love it too! I have personally never been to an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, but I have always wanted to. Our friends have decided to start a tradition of getting together every year for some sort of holiday party whether it is November, December, or even January!

School is starting for us in less than a week! I can't believe how fast the summer went by. I'm sure it was because we were so busy. With school starting back, it's back to the daily schedule of making lunches, getting kids to school, and extra curricular activities. I enjoy making my kid's lunches in the morning because I like to know what they are eating and so they can know how much I care while they are there through handwritten lunch box notes.

My husband and I have been working hard on not only making it to the gym every day, but our nutrition. Did you know that nutrition is actually the most important part to lose weight? I was looking through my Timehop and I was reminded that two years ago my husband and I really buckled down to start our weightloss journey. We made many lifestyle changes along the way and that has been the key to success. We watch what we eat more carefully and we make sure to get 30 minutes of cardio in daily.
