Week 2 Nutrisystem Results #NSNation

I received complimentary products to share this post. All opinions are my own.

This week has been a little chaotic because I had very little energy. Power Fuels are key with Nutrisystem. Tuesday we went out to eat for lunch with the family. I ate something that wasn't what I would normally because I was trying to eat a little healthier, but it was considered a "Flex Meal" on Nutrisystem. That's what I love about this program, you can still enjoy eating out because you just need to think about the food choices you make. Then we headed to Panola Mountain State Park and went on a little hike. Hubby suggested it. I love that he is wanting to start getting healthier too.

Wednesday was my daughter's class field trip to Yule Forest to visit the pumpkin patch. Pictures to come. ;) Thursday my sister-in-law invited us to go to the park and we brought a little picnic lunch. Saturday we went to visit my mom and then SweetPea spent the night with my in-laws while we took Peanut to a friend's house to visit for his birthday. I did go a little off track and had a beer or two. I did feel a little guilty, but I had been very good all week and very rarely get to visit with friends, so I didn't feel too bad. :)

Besides how does it taste, the other question is what do you eat.
Breakfast: coffee & either a bar, muffin, or one morning I even got to have a cinnamon bun!

Mid-Morning: Shake. Nutrisystem provide me with both chocolate & vanilla flavored to try. I make it in the morning if I know I'm going to be out.

Lunch: Nutrisystem entree with a LARGE salad. Light dressing, no croutons. Sometimes I add a power fuel; cheese, chicken, tuna, etc. If we are on the go, I'll have a bar and some carrots and always make sure I bring water.

Afternoon: Chobani greek yogurt. Sometimes I'll have another NS shake.

Dinner: Nutrisystem entree with veggies. I like to buy the marked down mixed veggies from Kroger that they have pre-cut. I make enough for the whole family and then just add something different for them.

Desert: YES! With Nutrisystem you can have desert! They have tons to choose from and so far they all have been very yummy.

Starting Weight: 238
Week 1 Results: 230
Week 2 Results: 224

That's right I am down 6 pounds this week for a total of 14 pounds lost. It was a hard week considering it was my time of the month, but because I get desert with Nutrisystem, I didn't have those naggy cravings like I normally get. This program is awesome. It is teaching me so much. I never realized how poor my habits actually were. I am so excited for my progress so far and can't wait to share more with.
