Wednesday's Weekly Weigh-In: Week #2

So today I don't really have anything to report except I have been super stressed out and haven't made time for working out. I am stuck at limbo for another week. But the good news is my Wii Fit thinks I should be 20 instead of 26 which makes me a happy girl! So how is everyone else doing on their diets/workouts?

Dragon*Con is this weekend and maybe by next year I will finally get the outfit of my dreams. (Hubby and I each have a deal that when we get below 200 we can get something we really want as long as it's under $200.)

Please feel free to post your link to your blog, video, or picture of your weight loss journey and how you did this week. Thanks!

Motivational Monday, Week #1

"There are always gonna be a million reasons not to do something."
- The Office: Boys and Girls

Stop making excuses.

So for our first motivational Monday I thought I would get to the core of mine and I'm sure a number of other people's problem...we make 'reasons' why we can't do something.

You complain about never seeing your friends because you have a child or a new job or just 'life got in the way' (I use that one more than I would like to admit). You have to make time for the things that matter. So do it.

You need to lose weight but say I already wake up too early (to exercise), I can't afford a gym membership or work out equipment, I can't afford to eat healthy...there is always a reason. Always an excuse. But if you want something bad enough you have to make it happen.

I'm unhappy with my career but I'm scared to leave, it's the only thing I know, the job market is bad. Then stay at your job but actively look for another one.

Sometimes you have to work for what you want. Sometimes you have to do stuff you don't want to do, so you can get to where you want. That's called life.

But if you keep making excuses, you will never be happy.

 Pin It!! :D

Weekly Totals: Kroger Trip 8/25

Just went to Kroger this week (there was nothing I was interested in getting from Publix) and I thought I would be able to get a picture this week but, alas, again I failed. Anyways, We went late last night to Kroger. So it was the last sale day AND it was a Saturday which has to be like the worse day to go. Anyways, I wanted to get Mott's Snack n' Gos BUT they were out at two stores (my husband says the were out at the warehouse, they had been out his store all week long) and it was this HUGE ordeal to get a rain check which I can't go into but I did finally get my rain check and that's all that matters.

I also had coupons for free nestle pure life waters that were on the mega so I decided to not get a few things because I had to buy ten. See they lost money because of people like me. Did I mention how much I dislike mega events? I am however excited for the 50% sale that started today.

Would have been more. And I am pretty dis appointed when the way things went down. I can't wait until after our vacation so I can get a new car...hopefully. *fingers crossed*

Boogie Wipes Review + Giveaway!

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

With as many snotty, crusty noses that we get in this house, I was VERY excited to try Boogies Wipes and as you can tell so was Sweet Pea. Boogie Wipes are saline wipes, designed to gently swipe away all those yucky, gunky boogers. And with school starting, germs and colds are inevitable.

The Great Grape scent is my favorite! It smells amazing and these wipes do their job. They get rid of all the gunk, not just boogies. They are soft, moist, and durable.

What I LOVE about them is that they are alcohol free and hypoallergenic, AND moisturize with Vitamin E, Chamomile, and Aloe so your little one can be booger free without a red, dry nose to show for it.

FUN STUFF:
You can now buy new 45 count packs of FRESH scent Boogie Wipes at Target stores nationwide!  And 90 count canisters are available now in most major retailers like Target, Wal-mart and Babies-R-Us. And you can look for the newest product – Boogie Blasters – in a 12 count pack of Berry scented wipes, available at Wal-mart and Kroger stores!

And coming soon you will be able to purchase a 10 count pack of Boogie Wipes in Fresh and Grape (great for your diaper bag or back pack), New Boogie Blasters scents, and Simply Unscented canisters!

Also Boogies Wipes has a couple of exciting things going on. Right now they have a Back To School Contest going on at SlaveTheSleeve where your class could win the grand prize of a years supply of Boogie Wipes and an ice cream/pizza party! Also they have Teacher Kits available to purchase at LittleBusyBodies.com.

Where do we use our Boogie Wipes?

Boogie Wipes was kind enough to offer ONE lucky reader a prize pack of (2) packs of 30-count wipes (fresh, grape, menthol, or unscented– combination varies).

So here is what I would like you to do in order to win: Fill out the rafflecopter below. Make sure to visit Boogie Wipes website and leave a comment letting me know which scent you are interested in trying.  This is a required entry and all entries are verified. Contest only open to contestants in US, Canada, and Australia.

***Disclosure***Although I did receive free products to do this review, all opinions are my own.
