Celebrating Birthday Milestones in a Memorable Way

This little man turned three and a half last week. I have been trying to enjoy all the little moments with him because he is our last baby. But don't call him that. He is a "big boy" and ready for a full time job and a house of his own. Half birthdays may not be something that everyone celebrates, but it was a fun distraction to keep our minds off of Hurricane Irma for sure.

We had a lot of fun celebrating this sweet Peanut's half birthday. And to him, it's a big deal. He is no longer a "baby" anymore, he isn't just three anymore, he is three AND a half! Netflix helped us celebrate this little man's half birthday in a fun, new way. Not only were we sent cool items to make this fun Red Velvet Cake, but just released today they have 15 on-demand videos that celebrate birthdays and make your kids' day special.

To celebrate our half-birthdays, my kiddos helped me make the cake and they were so excited that it was a Netflix cake. We have been HUGE fans of Netflix since my daughter was born and I love that they are continually creating exclusive content for families to enjoy.

And the great thing about this newest feature is that there are
15 Netflix Birthdays-On Demand Titles to choose from:
- All Hail King Julien
- Barbie
- Beat Bugs
- Dinotrux
- Las Leyendas
- LEGO Friends
- LEGO Ninjago
- Luna Petunia
- Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir
- My Little Pony
- Pokémon
- Project Mc2
- Skylanders Academy
- Trollhunters
- Word Party

I personally love the Birthdays on Demand for multiple reasons: the screeners let you celebrate your child's special day even if you aren't having a party (or one on that day), they are perfect for more budget friendly birthdays, and they help parties become less stressful while still keeping them fun and unique. Let's be real here, your kids might not remember the hundreds of dollars in decorations, but they are more likely to remember dancing to Beat Bugs with their friends and family.

Make sure to go check out my Instagram for an exclusive video of our fun half-birthday celebration!

How do you make birthday milestones unique? What do you think of the Netflix Birthdays On-Demand?

  2. I am sharing this with my daughters who have Netflix. I don't have it and this wasn't around when I was raising kids. But this is an awesome way to celebrate your child! They are only 3 1/2 once and then they are grown!!
