Austin Lloyd September 6-12 Month Box Review #AustinLloydBox

SO it has been one of those weeks around here, where I feel overwhelmed and nothing seems to get down. ON TOP OF THAT, Peanut has been super clingy and only wanting to sleep if he is right up next to me, which has helped with our #SeptBabywearingChallenge, I guess. But any ways, here is a review that I am excited to share because it a subscription box (and you know how I feel about those).

I received complimentary products to provide this review. All opinions are my own.

I recently had the opportunity to try out this new subscription box that I had never heard of called Austin Lloyd. It's centered around babies and toddlers. They have different play levels to choose from and you can decide which is good for your child based on the recommended skills that your child can do. They have 0-5 months, 6-12 months (which we received to review), 13-18 months, 19-24 months, and then the newly added 3 years.

Each month has a different theme and September's month was Air & Space.

What came in this month's box:

Haba Allegro Stacking Ball* "Start your little one on the path to better hand eye coordination with a ball that has rings like Saturn. A pleasure for baby's hands, eyes and ears, this ball can be grabbed, stacked and rolled." $13.99

Hape Little Copter* "Hape's Little Copter will make imaginations soar when this hand-powered copter takes off. Up, up, and away. Your little one will have endless adventures with its spinning rotor. And it's not all fun and games. This little copter will help boost your little one's coordination, balance, and physical strength while also promoting dexterity and hand eye coordination." RV $10.99

Green Toys Star Stacking Cups* "Six graduated cups with dozens of possibilities for bath and play time. The blue, green and purple My First Green Toys Stacking Cups let your little one scoop and pour water, build towers by turning them upside down, or just sort sizes to nest. Made from food-safe, 100% recycled milk jugs in the USA. No BPA, PVC, or phthalates." RV $10.99

Rocket to the Moon by Lerryn Korda* "Join Little Nye and his friends on a magical rocket trip to the moon. With a retro feel, this simple story celebrates imaginative play." RV $8.99

Haba Sunni Clutching Toy* "Brighten up your little one's play with this clutching toy. The "rays" wiggle around when shaken about, making a fun rattling sound to delight your little one. The Sunni rattle has been expertly designed to help develop clutching and grasping skills." RV $15.99

I was very happy with everything that came in this box. Since it is such a wide age range, I have decided to put some stuff up for Christmas. My daughter, who will be 4 at the beginning of December, also has been enjoying playing with the toys as well. We haven't read the book yet, but I love the pictures and my daughter has flipped through it as well.

As far as price point goes here is a screenshot of the packages you can choose from:

So a little higher than I have seen in monthly subscription boxes for the little ones. Everything in my box had a total retail value of about $61, so you have to decide for yourself if you think it is worth it. I think it would make a GREAT gift for someone.

Do you like subscription boxes? What did you think about Austin Lloyd? Would you consider buying something like this for your little one?

I received one or more of the products mentioned above complimentary. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I've been thinking about joining a subscription, but I'm so worried that we'd get things we wouldn't use. Thanks for the review, seems like a lot of good stuff came in this one.
