25 weeks & guess what? MORE STRESS!

As of yesterday , I am 25 weeks along. I know I didn't do an update last week but life has been a little over whelming as of late. On top of everything else that has been going on this year (my grandmother passing away, car wreck, my father passing away, and all the drama with his life insurance), I am now the victim of identity theft. A lady opened a Pet Company, Ashley Stewart, Old Navy, and Target account. I balled on the phone with my mom and made her cry. So now I'm having to deal with that. I froze my credit so hopefully this won't happen again but now I have to fill out paper work and tell these places that I didn't create these accounts. And so far Target has been the nicest about it and Pet Company has been the worst (of course they are owed the most).

Update 2/15/23: “I had to file a police report before anyone would believe me.”

But anyways, I wanted to end this post on a lighter side. My 6 month appointment on Tuesday went great. My blood pressure was very good and they gave me a glucose tollerance test and we'll find out the results very soon. Lizzie's heart rate was 140 which is great. So this year may be going terrible but it is going to end with the best little blessing God could have ever given. The greatest present of all.

Here's some info on how baby Lizzie is roughly doing:

She is now about the size of an eggplant!!

And weighs about as much of a rutabaga!

That's about it! Hopefully life can get a little less stressful but alteast the baby is doing great. O and we have Lizzie's Nursery cleaned out!! We need to move the furniture (which I can't do) but atleast everything is organized. O and my husband fixed my dish washer!! :] I'm so grateful for my amazing man. I have no idea what I would do without him.

Making My Life Harder

Now, I would just like to point out the fact that I love my husband and my dog very much. With that said, today was a rough day, I didn't get alot of sleep last night, there were many new chores to do at work because the kids were going to their grandparents' house, plus I have been sick. So when I got off early, I was very excited and thinking I'm going to go home and take a well deserved nap.

My dog has been acting out lately by going to the bathroom on the floor and getting into the trash. I think he knows something is different with me. Wait until this baby comes, his whole world is going to change. But since he has been doing this, we have been putting him up when we're not here. Well, my husband forgot today so the dog got into the trash. I wish I had a picture of the mess he made, it was ridiculous. And thing is, my husband had pulled it out and tied it off to take it out and dog still got into it. I knew something was up when I saw him lying in his pin on his own (he knew he had done something wrong).

Well then to make matters worse, my husband had made lunch/dinner for himself but left me with the mess. This is also the same man who cleaned out his car and put everything in the middle of the living room floor. It wasn't trash, just clothes and such but guess who had to clean it up. There is still some stuff that I didn't know where to put, so he 'organized it' by shoving it up against the wall.

I think this is one of the biggest things we fight over. Cleaning up after yourself. I feel if I was a stay at home wife that I would do more because I would feel like that was my job but I have a full time job already. I agree he works more but some things are just ridiculous. When he needs a pair of clean pants, he informs me instead of doing it himself. Really?! Like he doesn't have two hands.

And what am I doing now? Making lausage so he has lunch for next week because he's on vacation. How messed up in the head am I?

So I am very excited to announce we are officially registering tomorrow. As in, we are actually going to Target and making sure we have everything we need on the registry. I've registered for a few things online, in fact, I registered for a 4-in-1 convertible crib, two changing tables(why 2, I have no idea), a dresser, and a glider with ottoman and someone bought them! (1)My MIL got a changing table and crib with a mattress for around $150 from a consignment shop but if it turns out someone did buy the others, I'd like to keep the new ones so they can be a whole set, plus they are cherry and wouldn't match. The thing is, I have no idea who would have done such a nice and generous thing. Not saying I don't know people who would want to do something like that, it's just the combination of having the money to do it too. lol If my MIL doesn't want to keep the crib/changing table we can sell it to this up and coming consignment shop that is so cute and looking for more stuff to sell, it's called: Once Again Consignment Boutique. But we will see what to do after we have the showers. This whole idea was per my MIL, just so everyone knows.

So far we have a few things already. My MIL bought me this awesome stroller that fits the car seat my boss gave me perfectly, it's the kind of stroller that the car seat goes into but when they get older it is also a regular stroller. I think it's called a travel system. (2)We also have 8 AVENT naturally bottles my boss gave me. These sell for $12 brand new. As you can see they need new nipples. We have a swing that my boss gave us and I checked it tonight and it works!!! :] (3)We also have a ton of 0-3 month clothing that will be in season for her when she comes. I need to check out what I have for 3-6 months but I know I have a good amount of that too. I just don't know if it's in season and the condition of it. I have a car seat with two bases and a bouncer my boss gave me, baby monitors my aunt gave me, and a bassinet my MIL bought me. So I'm very excited.

(4)We have also picked out her nursery design. It's pink and brown polk-a-dots. They sell it at Babies-R-Us for $199 but we GOT it from Katia's Kloset Consignment Boutique for only $99. It's a 9 piece set which includes: Comforter, Bumper, Fitted Sheet, Skirt, 2 Window Valances, Diaper Stacker, Toy Bag, and Decorative Pillow. As you can see the crib and changing table in the picture is cherry and the paint is the same color her room already is, so everything will match PEFECTLY! :] My MIL knows the owner, that's how she found it!

I'm so grateful for everything my MIL has done for us. She has been so amazing and I don't know what I would do without her.

I'm so very excited for this baby to come and getting the nursery ready for her. I worked alot on clearing out the room for her this weekend. I think we might want to invest in a ceiling fan for that room earlier because it gets HOT working in there. I can't wait for the showers! I know my mom, sister, & aunt(in Buford) are throwing me one and my MIL & Sisters-in-law (in McDonough) are also throwing me one. If you want to come to one or the other, go over to facebook and send me message with your address letting me know which one. I don't know if my dad's side is throwing me one. I guess I'll find out Saturday at the family reunion.

I think that's about it for this post. I'll post more updates soon! :]

23 weeks ♥

Still having some trouble sleeping. My energy level has gone way down. She kicks me in the bladder constantly (although I love to feel her move). I feel like I'm hungry ALL the time but I've been trying not to over eat. I've been walking more which tends to help with some of the achs and pains. We need to seriously start working on her nursery but I don't know where to begin! I'm excited though! :]

To Do List Week 2

Ok so I didn't get around to calling the exterminator to get a contract on the house. I have had a LOT going on and that was the last thing on my mind.

BUT my goal for this week is to straighten up the office. This is going to be Sweet Pea's nursery but before we can move anything out, as you can see, we need to clear up the little things. We will be moving the desk and large bookshelf into our bedroom. The TV into the spare bedroom. And we will also need to get a ceiling fan installed (to reduce the risk of SIDS). As you can see we also need new blinds too. lol But that will all have to wait until later because as of right now I'm going to have my hands full trying to sort through all this junk.

I was watching that show hoarders and it made me want to do this SO BAD! So maybe I will actually get on top of it. :]

On another note, I need a new camera. Mine is officially broken. It won't even turn on! So before baby Sweet Pea gets here, I'm definitely going to have to get one.

Stress & the Pregnant Woman

So far during this pregnancy, I got into a wreck, my grandmother passed away, my father passed away from terminal colon cancer, and now I'm having to deal with drama about my father's life insurance.

I honestly do not care either way if we get any money or not. But I do want to make sure everything is done properly. The insurance company told me to fill out the paper work they sent. So that's what I'm doing. I don't understand why that is a big deal but it looks like it's becoming one.

They say you are suppose to keep your stress levels down when you are pregnant, as much as possible. But it's hard when others are forcing senseless drama over something so ridiculous on you.

I want to keep my step-mother in my life and I hope this all works out that way.

22 weeks along and drama to spare...

The baby will stay around this size until week 24.

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain: still about 10 pounds. I've been trying to walk more than is recommended. They say you should get about 2 and a half hours of excersize a week.

Sleep: I can finally sleep in my bed again but only on my back which will have to change to sleeping back on the couch on my side during my last trimester as to not put stress on the baby. FUN!

Best moment this week: Greg feeling our little girl move.

Movement: She has gotten into a little moving/sleep schedule. When she is awake, she moves so much. I ♥ it! But she isn't waking me up yet, which is good. :]

Milestones: Having to deal with outside drama has been completely ridiculous and unnecessary.

Favorite Moments: Greg has been making my life so much better. I don't know what I would do without him. He is my everything. I love him so much.

To Do List week 1 & 21 weeks along

So the idea is to cross off something from list each week until the baby comes. I'm sure I'll add things to the list as time goes on but for this week I'm going to try and get a contract on the house for an exterminator. I'll let ya know if I get that done.

As of yesterday I am 21 weeks along. If you know anything about pregnancy they say you are pregnant for 9 months but they also say you are pregnant for 40 weeks, and that's more like 10 months. So that's why I (and most others) count by weeks.

How far along? 21 weeks and 1 day (as of today)

Total weight gain: about 10 pounds which they say is normal at this time in my pregnancy but I'm going to try and keep it as low as possible since I was over weight before.

Sleep: I've been having so much trouble sleeping in my bed that I've been sleeping on the couch alot.

Best moment this week: Finding out our little girl is developing PERFECTLY!

Movement: She is moving NON stop! I love knowing she is in there. Greg hasn't felt her yet but I'm not sure other people can yet.

Gender: ALL GIRL!! :]

Belly Button in or out? It's still in.

Milestones: Sleeping comfortably in my own bed would be nice....

Favorite Moments: Greg kisses me goodbye and baby Lizzie everyday. :]

And Lizzie is her name-o.

So I have been getting alot of drama about Elizabeth's name. Basically because we have friends who named their daughter Elizabeth. They call her Eliza and we will be calling our little girl Lizzie.

The thing is I have had Elizabeth Nicole picked out since I was nine. I've also liked the name Elizabeth since I was three. I had a cabbage patch doll named Elizabeth Pinky Martin. I think the name is classic and there is so much you can do with it. Plus, my mother lost a child when she was three days and her name was Elizabeth Ann. So the name has alot of meaning for us.

We talked about this name before we were even engaged and it's our child so we can name her what we want. We have other friends who have a little boy named Mikey and we were going to name a boy if we had one Michael Gregory and they didn't mind. I also think when Eliza and Lizzie get older they will think it's cool they have the same name. I mean it's not like it's an original name that was used. It's completely classic.

So for those of you last night who had issues with it, get over it. She's not your child.
