Mexican Street Tacos with Enspice Seasonings & Spices

With the everything going on, most of you know that I have been trying to recreate my favorite restaurant recipes at home. The Mexican restaurant close to my house has the BEST street tacos. So I decided to try my hand at recreating them.

I was recently introduced to Enspice inc. which is a public benefit corporation on a mission to end childhood malnutrition by putting nutrients back where they belong, in food. They believe nutrients should come from their natural sources, not from a synthetic supplement. So, they put plant-based nutrients directly into tasty seasonings and spices. And they self-fund their foundation’s efforts to give children around the world the nutrition they need.

We received taco seasoning, cape cod, chipotle BBQ, black pepper, seasoned salt, and cinnamon varieties. These flavors all come with 50% of the RDA of 21 different nutrients. The nutrients come from whole foods, like kale, pumpkin and mushrooms. Enspice premium seasonings and spices are enhanced with 21 plant-based vitamins and minerals with nutrients from 10 organic plants. By incorporating 1 tsp of Enspice into a recipe you are getting 50% of the FDA daily values. It was the best taco seasoning I have ever tried, so many options available on the market are filled with preservatives. I use the seasoned salt and black pepper in my white chicken chili recipe and came in 3rd place in our neighborhood's annual chili cook off!

I didn't have chorizo on hand, and I ended up seasoning my ground beef with Enspice Taco Seasoning. I was impressed with the ingredients, a great mixture of paprika, garlic, onion, salt, chili powder, onion and other spices. I also added black beans, red bell pepper, pineapple chunks, homemade Mexican rice, and shredded cheese to some low carb tortillas. If you have cilantro to put on top of yours, that is another great option as well. What I love about Enspice is they donate a meal for a child in need with each purchase. So, you can eat good, feel good, and do good! Enspice seasoning and spices are available to purchase at enspice.com. Get 10% off Enspice seasonings & spices with code MOMSMEET, through 12/30/2020.
