The Best Guacamole Recipe Ever

My husband makes this for so many events and we get asked all the time for the recipe so I thought I would share it here so I could give a quick link to people. He looked up a recipe years ago to use up some ripe avocados, but he has changed it to perfection. We get complimented everywhere we go and since we have starting to eat healthy, it is our go to dish to bring so we know we will have something to eat wherever we go. Compliment it with a veggie tray and boom! Satisfying, delicious, and good for you party food too.

Here is what you need:

4 ripe Hass avocados
8 dashes buffalo sauce - hot sauce can be used
1/2 cup small-diced red onion
1 large garlic clove - we use the already minced big jar
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 Roma tomato
1/2 lime - squeezed (we have used bottled before as well)

Basically just mix everything together. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit and skin and place in a mixing bowl. Mash the avocado with a fork and make it as chunky or smooth as you'd like. Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. Make sure you remove the stem of the avocado so it doesn't accidentally end up in your dish. Here is the best way to cut an avocado. I also added a link on how to pick a ripe avocado because it Is KEY on preparing and making avocado. Adding the lime will help make the dish last longer as well. He will double this recipe for parties and because it tends to be easier as well as we don't mind if we have left overs.

That's it! Let me know in the comments if you try this recipe. I promise it won't disappoint!

  8. I've never made guacamole. I think I am afraid of how to deal with avocados. No one has ever taught me the ins and outs of avocados.
