Tips to Help Your Child Develop a LOVE of Reading + GIVEAWAY

This interview opportunity was sponsored by LeapFrog.

It’s no secret that the earlier kids start reading, the better their chances for success in school and in life. However, according to the US Department of Education, only about half of all young children who are three to five-years old are read to on a daily basis by a family member. Getting kids to start reading earlier sets them up for better chances of success in school and life. So, what can be done to boost those numbers and have a positive impact on kids?

Kristi Yamaguchi, mother, author and world-recognized Olympic gold skater, offers tips and personal anecdotes on what has helped her children develop a love of reading. As co-founder of the Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream Foundation, she offers her tips on what parents can do to inspire their kids to become passionate about reading and all the benefits that can result from those efforts.
