Chicken Salad with Apple & Cashews {Dave's Killer Bread Review}

I recently had the opportunity to review some of Dave's Killer Bread and I thought I would share this amazing chicken salad recipe with Honeycrisp Apples and Cashews. We went through this bread fairly quickly. It was a HUGE hit in our house. So as you can see I didn't manage to get many pictures with it. :/

What You Need:
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken {Buy it for $1.69/lb. with Zaycon Foods!}
- 1/2 cup chopped salted cashews
- 1/2 cup chopped Honeycrisp red apple (tis' the season!)
- 1/2 cup chopped peeled cucumber
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar - I use Splenda Granulated to make it a little healthier.
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper

What You Do:
1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cashews, apple and cucumber.
2. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, salt and pepper.
3. Add to chicken mixture and toss to coat.
4. Place on Dave's Killer Organic Bread and ENJOY! :D

We received Seeded Honey Wheat and Good Seed to review. Since it is organic, we froze it until we needed it.

Tip:
For bread you cannot consume within 7-10 days, just freeze it! Double bag the loaf and you can freeze for up to 3 months. Take pieces out to thaw as needed, toast directly out of the freezer, or thaw the entire loaf one day prior to usage.

This bread was AMAZING! Hubby absolutely loved it. My daughter wouldn't eat it because she is going through this phase where if food looks different she would rather starve. That's okay. I made her something else and we had more for us! We made the chicken salad mentioned above and took Dave's Killer Bread to Stone Mountain and it made the PERFECT picnic dinner! I could only find it at Costco, which is a bit of a drive for me, but you can find where it's sold near you with their Store Locator.

What do you think about Dave's Killer Bread? Do you have a good sandwich recipe? Please share it below! :D
