Nanny to Mommy

My son transitioned to a big boy bed last year. He originally loved it, but now that it has time to settle, I think he was scared to get out of it initially because now he will not stay in it. He has been trying to sneak back into our bed and he will even try to sleep in the closet right outside our bedroom door. He has always been snugly sleeper and I think he just doesn't feel the snuggly comfort he craves in his big bed. I thought that by creating a comforting sleep space, then it might help him adjust a little better.

I have heard about the DockATot™ brand for a while now. I knew they had DockATot™ Deluxe which was designed for babies aged 0 to 8 months old or 5-22Ibs. so they can have a safe place to rest, lounge, play, cuddle, do tummy time and even get diaper changes, but they do have a larger version as well. The DockATot Grand is the stage 2 version and it was designed for babies age 9 to 36 months or 22-40lbs. It has been nice having this for him because it seems to be giving him a sense of security that he wasn't feeling before.

Spring is in the air. My family and I have been so excited for all things spring because it finally gives us a chance to get outside and play. Some of our favorite activities happen in the spring; my son's birthday and our annual Easter Egg Hunt.

For our Easter Egg Hunt, I invite both my husband and my family. We all bring a dish and eggs to hunt. We get to enjoy the wonderful spring air. And my favorite part is getting to explore the kids fashion that OshKosh B'gosh has to offer for spring.

This past week was Winter Break for our local schools so we decided to take a trip camping. I have mentioned how much we love camping before because it get us a nice little getaway without breaking the bank and all of our Family's Camping Essentials. Since we are Friends of the Parks and just found out about it, we decided to join this club where basically what that means is if we hike four of Georgia's canyons then we get a t-shirt. We actually have already hiked three of them last year with full intentions of returning.

Since it is cooler this time of year, we decided to head down south to explore Providence Canyon which is also referred to as Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon". Hiking did get a little hot since we couldn't feel the breeze and it was unseasonally hot when we went, but it was so worth it.
