Always Be Prepared...Fashionably
Tuesday, February 7, 2017
"When You're In a Pikle, Just Dill With It!" What does that mean? I have just been introduced to an amazing new product that is what every mom needs to keep with them at all times (they also make ones for dads too).
So let me explain, I am one of those moms that likes to always be prepared for anything that life throws at me. But I don't want to carry around an enormous diaper bag anymore and honestly didn't like doing it when my babies were little. But kids need stuff! They get boo-boos and need bandages, they get messy and need wipes, and sometimes you need stuff too! As you may know, we are starting on a healthy lifestyle this year and with that comes more adventure which can mean more predicaments for the need to be more prepared. That's why I'm loving my In A Pikle bag.
Some "Bunny" Likes You - Non-Candy Valentine Idea + FREE Printable
Friday, February 3, 2017
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I have been thinking what we were going to do differently this year. My daughter is in Kindergarten and has 22 classmates. I really wanted to give non-candy Valentine's this year. I feel like we just got rid of all the Halloween candy! So I created these "Some Bunny Likes You" Printables for you all to enjoy!
My kids love these Annie's Homegrown snack packs. I pack them in my daughter's lunch box as well as take them on the road with us. And they come in a perfect bunny shape too! They come in larger boxes if you want to pack them in baggies, but I like these ones that are already individually wrapped. They also make fruit gummies as well. And if you're wondering, no this post isn't sponsored, we just love Annie's Homegrown Snacks! I just love that they are a socially conscious business who specializes in organic ingredients and focusing on sustainability.
Home Schooling A Toddler with ABCmouse.com Early Learning Academy

Education is so important to me. I believe that in order to help our children be self-sufficient, they need a solid foundation which in my opinion is education. I have been home schooling SweetPea for a few months now. I looked into a two year old preschool for her, but with money being tight, I didn't feel that was a viable option. I was recently asked to try an Early Learning Academy app with my daughter. I feel it is more budget friendly option for the parent who wants to help further their child's education.

"Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" Comes to Netflix
Saturday, January 28, 2017
I am a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam. This post is in partnership with them. All opinions are my own.
We love a good princess, and there’s nothing wrong with a happy ending. But the reality is kids today are gravitating toward grown-up stories. They may not be made with kids in mind (read: The Walking Dead, American Horror Story and That 70’s Show), but they’re watching. That’s why Netflix is reinventing family TV with shows like Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, available to stream now. The show serves up dark comedy that your big kids are probably ready for, whether you realize it or not.
As a member of the Netflix StreamTeam, I had the miserable opportunity to preview a screener of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. Life for the Bauledaire children is very salty indeed because of Count Olaf, but I have whipped up an easy recipe that can bring a little sweet in to the mix without any misery.
Here's what you need to make "Count Olaf's Salty Sweet Cracker Treats":
