Baby Shower Gift Ideas with Dreft + #Amazinghood Giveaway

This post and giveaway were made possible by iConnect and Dreft. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.

It is Baby Shower season! I know so many people who are having babies! I'm so excited that I get to introduce them to some of my favorite baby products, some they may have heard of and some they haven't! Understanding that laundry needs for little ones change as they grow and develop, Dreft, the #1 baby laundry detergent choice of pediatricians, the #1 dermatologist recommended brand for baby clothes and a trusted brand for more than 80 years, has expanded its product line-up to better meet the different life-stage needs of babies and their families.

Dreft welcomes families to the big, messy, beautiful journey of #Amazinghood with its new line of laundry care products. Babies go through a lot of changes within their first few years, leading to different needs for different life stages - especially when it comes to their laundry. Now with Dreft's new line of laundry care products, families can focus less on the mess and more on the amazing moments they share together.

Celebrating National Princess Week

At dinner every evening, we go around the table and ask everyone how their day was. My daughter said they talked about what they wanted to be when they grew up. Here is how the conversation went:

Me: "So what did you say you wanted to be?"
SweetPea: "I want to be a princess when I grow up."
Me: "Oh, is that so."
SweetPea: "Yes, because they wear pretty dresses."
Me: "Well, you know to be a princess you have to be really smart and make sure you finish all of our schooling. You need to know how to be a ruler. You also need to be kind to others and make sure you share. You also have to have courage for those times when it can get scary."
SweetPea: "It's a big job being a princess."

It really is. I'm honestly not surprised by my daughter's response. She loves all things princesses. We even had a Disney Princess party when she turned 5.
Did you know this week was National Princess Week?

Sick just got real.™ + $25 Gift Card Giveaway

The video and gift card have been provided by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own.

When your child is sick you feel helpless. You wish you were the one who was sick because they just don't understand and you just want them to feel better. At least that's how I feel and of course I inevitably get it too, it's the cycle of sickness. My children thankfully haven't been sick very often. But when one gets sick, we all do...
