When did you first introduce a pillow to your little one? My little man is a toddler whether I want to accept it or not. He is still in his crib and no attempts to climb out...yet! So we are going to keep him in there as long as possible. I'm also pretty particular about what I let go in his crib. He's old enough now where SIDS isn't as big of a risk, but that doesn't mean it still isn't a concern of mine. So I went back and forth on a pillow for him. Then Hubby asked, "When do they start sleeping with pillows?"

 

 

So when I received the opportunity to review the Snugg Organic My Little Big Pillow, I thought well here's my chance to see if he's ready. Of course the first night (and second and third), I kept the baby monitor off of VOX mode so I could see him at all times. But he was fine and I think we made a good choice in toddler pillows.

Families. We’ve all got one, but these days they’re starting to look less like The Cleavers and gone are the days of the white picket fence. My family was hardly picture perfect growing up. My parents were divorced and I had a hard time getting along with either step-parent. It was just my brother, me, and my half-sister that were there for each other. And then I met my husband's family. They look pretty picture perfect in every way, including taking me in and treating me like one of their own. We fight, but we would do anything for each other and that's really what it's all about.

When Grace and Frankie’s husbands leave them after 20 years of marriage - to be with each other - the women find themselves facing a change that they never expected, but they shift their perspective to get through it together with the support of their new blended family and, of course, a sense of humor.

I am trying to kick my weight loss journey back into gear. We joined a gym September of last year, but we stopped going when Peanut got sick, then the holidays happened, and then Hubby got his new job with the long commute and now we are back at square one. I wanted to get bathing suit body ready (I don't do bikinis, LOL), but alas that didn't happen. With my daughter out for the summer though, we are going to stay super busy. So what I am going to do on those mornings when I need to hit the road, but there's no time for breakfast?

 

I recently had the opportunity to review SlimQuick Pure Protein Powder. I have used protein powders in the past when I have been trying to lose weight. They can taste terrible or have a weird consistency, but SlimQuick doesn't. This is my favorite smoothie recipe. When my wisdom tooth was coming through (over 5 years ago now) and the pain was so bad I couldn't chew anything, my Hubby taught me this smoothie recipe and I have been in love ever since.
