Mid Week Trip - Publix - Saved 90%!

I needed bread and toilet paper. I saw the deal on Playtex infant items and knew I should stock up for little man since I only have girl ones (and most of them are broken). Wish I had the Publix Baby Club coupon to make them moneymakers, but it's okay because they were a GREAT deal!

Each child is different and even experienced parents can have issues arise that they have never seen before. It is nice to have a quick, easy to read reference right there if/when I need it! There are so many topics covered in this book that I needed to reference this time around and it's good to know that I wasn't alone and that they were ALL common issues that can arise.

Co-Sleeping Safely With Your Baby

Co-sleeping is a hot topic of debate that frequently divides rooms of mothers. Supporters of co-sleeping are of the mindset that a parent’s bed is where an infant belongs while those opposed to it argue that it is just downright dangerous.

Co-Sleeping With Your Baby

People choose to co-sleep with their babies for a number of different reasons. It is believed that co-sleeping encourages breast feeding and makes it more convenient by helping to synchronize the mother and baby’s sleep cycles. Supporters of co-sleeping also believe that it brings a mother and baby closer together, especially if there is separation during the day due to work or other commitments. With these benefits in mind, it’s understandable why some mothers choose to co-sleep with their infants. If you do choose to co-sleep with your baby, it is important that you do so safely.

How I Grocery Shop with an Infant

I was never huge into baby wearing with SweetPea. Not because I didn't want to, I tried...., I just didn't have a good carrier. Which made grocery shopping before she could sit up on her own by myself almost impossible. My husband works in a grocery store, so the last thing he wants to do is go grocery shopping on his days off. He works long hours, so I try to soak up every minute I can with him. I do sometimes leave the kids with m mother-in-law when she isn't working, but I don't like to burden her too much. So grocery shopping with just me and the kids is our norm.

I'm excited for this trip because I stocked up on some produce that we really needed. I might go back and grab some more resolve because with two kids (one who is a boy), I'm going to definitely need it and at $0.50 who couldn't pass it up! ;D The FREE (actually money making) sausage, I'm SUPER excited about because I have a recipe I want to share with all of you and I was waiting for a deal on sausage, so now I can! :D (Yes, I use too many emoticons. ;P)
I also want to thank my mom for all the coupons she gave me on Mother's Day because if I wasn't for her this trip would have not been possible.

So this is what I got:
