Celebrating Easter & My 30th Birthday #DisneyKids #DisneySide

I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.

Yesterday was not only Easter, it was also my 30th birthday. Yes, I turned the big 3-0. I remember crying, like a lot, when I turned 20 because I was sad I wasn't a teenager anymore. But I wasn't sad yesterday, I was happy and am excited for the journey ahead. We were fortunate enough to be chosen to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate. (Here's a video of our unboxing.) So we had both sides of the family over for Easter and of course all the cousins. We did some egg hunting, had a great meal, enjoyed some cupcakes, and shared the #DisneySide fun.

We started the day off with some egg hunting.

Bright Starts "League of Little Laughers" Play Date #BabyLOLL

I received free products in order to host the Bright Starts sponsored Play Date. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Baby and toddler play dates are so much fun. Not only do the little ones get to play together, but the moms get some socialization too. ;) I had the opportunity to host a Bright Starts Little League of Laughers play date for my children and their little friends. Bright Starts, a toy brand committed to smiles, giggles and happy babies, provided me with these fun toys below for our play date.

Our group consists mostly of my kids and my sister-in-law's kiddos, but we do have a few mutual friends and we all like to get together whenever we can. Which was harder this time of year, but it was nice that we were able to make it work. I love the items we received from Bright Starts.

Leaping into Gaming {LeapFrog #LeapTV Mommy Party}

I received complimentary LeapFrog products through Mom Select Mommy Parties. I received no monetary compensation. All opinions are my own.

I have always been a huge fan of the Leapfrog since I was sent my very first product to review through Mommy Parties. Leapfrog products are not just educational, but very entertaining as well. Their newest and hottest product is the LeapFrog LeapTV which is an educational active gaming system. This product is so innovative it is on Amazon's Hot Holiday Toy List of 2014!

A Quick Review of LeapFrog's LeapPad Ultra

"I was provided a sample of the LeapPad Ultra through a Mom Select Campaign. The opinions expressed are my own."

 I recently had the opportunity to review the new LeapPad Ultra as long as I provided a review on Amazon too (of course I disclosed). But I wasn't required to review it on my blog, but I wanted to share my thoughts on it with all of you as well.

Home Schooling A Toddler {LeapFrog #LeapReader™ "Ready, Set, Read & Write" Party}

I received free LeapFrog products in order to host the LeapFrog sponsored MommyParty. The opinions expressed here are my own.

LeapFrog LeapReader Review

When I first read that I was going to have the opportunity to host a LeapReader party, the first thing I did was go to LeapFrog's website to discover that the LeapReader is $50. But it is worth every penny. The books you buy are just that, books. But the LeapReader reads the books and can recognize individual words. It also speaks dialogue when you click some of the images and even recognizes page numbers. It can play catchy songs that help the little ones learn to read as well.

Tea Time with Toddlers #CadburyHighTea

I received a party kit as part of a promotional program with Cadbury and MomSelect to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Tea Time with Toddlers #CadburyHighTea

The weather has been horrible in Georgia. I mean it's nice to not have to deal with the usual summer drought, but with a toddler we have been having to stay in doors...a lot. So to spice up our usual routines, I decided to have a tea party thanks to Mommy Parties and Cadbury. I planned a big event than what in actuality happened...because of the rain. Not everyone came and we couldn't play some of the games plus I had more decorations, but the show must go on!

The first treat the girl had were Cucumber with Cream Cheese. They had never had the treat before, but they loved it!

The next thing we did was play a little game where we read each other's tea leaves. This one was more for the adults. All you do is heat water and pour intoa cup. Sprinkle in some tea leaves. After the tea has steeped, the leaves will begin to rest at the bottom of the cup. Drink and enjoy your tea. Then when you are finished, dump the remaining liquid onto the saucer or a napkin. Then, flip the cup up right to read the symbols left by the tea leaves. You may see something that represents a circle, number, letter, animal, or other things. You have to be creative and make up your own meaning to the symbols left by your tea leaves, but it is really fun to think of crazy things.

And of course you can't have a Cadbury High Tea Party without Cadbury Ice Cream Bars! We received four different varieties of ice cream bars to try: Cadbury® Royal Dark™ which is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury Royal Dark chocolaty coating, Cadbury® English Toffee which is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat toffee ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with toffee pieces (and beyond my favorite), Cadbury® Caramello™ which is creamy Blue Bunny Reduced fat vanilla ice cream swirled with caramel sauce all dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating, and Cadbury® Vanilla Chocolate which is creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating.
