Gifts for Dog Lovers
Thursday, November 16, 2023
This is the ultimate gift idea list for dog lovers. I am a pet parent. There I said it. I love my furbaby. I believe I will always need a dog in my life. Last September, we had to lay my fourteen-year-old Bichon down to rest and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. This past March, I was picking up the kids from school and there was a lady selling Golden Doodles on the side of the road. I have always been impulsive at times. I called my husband, and he said it was up to me, but I had already made up my mind. She lights up my day. She is hyper and her activity level is way different than we were used to, but she is adjusting in our family perfectly.

Wednesday, August 2, 2023
Dogs are loyal companions, but they also need to be taken care of. That’s often why some cat people aren’t quite as interested in the messy and ultra-reliant nature of dogs, even if fondness never has to be either/or and most people like both types of pests just fine.
Investing in your dog’s long-term health, then, is always going to be important. Depending on the breed you have, they may have unique health challenges or at least the predisposition for developing problems.
One thing to remember is that pets are not cheap. In fact, they can be rather expensive to care for. That’s not to say doing so is a burden, only that you need to prepare for it. So - not only does caring for your dog’s health and making the right decisions now improve their quality of life (which is always the priority), but it saves money too. A rare win-win!
Let’s consider a few tips for achieving such an outcome:

What Is Pet Insurance, And Should Pet Owners Invest?
Thursday, June 16, 2022
Pets are like family to a lot of us and are treated like royalty by many. They are our companions
and live in our homes with us, and some people spend thousands a year on grooming,
accessories and five-star meals, so why not invest in insurance too? The difference pet
insurance can make is astounding as it can actually save you money.
There are a few types of pet insurance policies available for different types of cover, such as
accident coverage, illness coverage and wellness coverage. Each policy type acts in a different
way, so look for a policy that suits your needs. Most insurers don’t cover pets with pre-existing
health conditions, so getting an insurance policy before your pet gets sick is really important for
protecting both you and them. Insurance means that you can get high-quality treatment for your
pet, no matter their condition.

How To Deal With A Difficult Puppy
Wednesday, January 6, 2021
Pets are a beautiful addition to the family from time to time, but they do require work and investment to help them become the best they can possibly be. Of course, just like people, all pets have their own personality, and this can mean that some are more difficult than others.
In this post, we are going to describe the problems you may have with a small puppy, because it’s unlikely that you can train a lizard or a hamster (or maybe even a cat) to be more empathetic and well-behaved, and animal behavioral specialists are of course the first port of call when dealing with any other classification of pet.
Also, it’s important to note what we mean by 'difficult'. A puppy doesn’t have to be aggressive or unsuitable for children to be 'difficult'. Perhaps it’s just taking them longer than most to learn toilet training, maybe they’re just untrained, or maybe they have a tendency to howl or bark when they want you instead of peaceably finding you.
How can these issues be resolved? Let’s consider:
