Our Favorite Christmas Movies on Netflix

If you are like me, then you are fortunate enough to not have to drive anywhere on Christmas Day. Forever growing up we had to run around and we never got enjoy the day. So I made the decision for my family that I would change some traditions for them to create our new ones. We wake up early, open presents, I make breakfast, and then we enjoy each other's company all day long with Christmas movies on in the back ground.

Here are some movies to help you binge watch your way through Christmas. Also don't forget Netflix Gift Cards make a great gift or stocking stuffer idea!

Miracle on the 34th Street (1994) - And yes it is so cheesy as you remember it. But it still was a sweet, warm Christmas movie. I hadn't seen it in YEARS, so it was like watching it all over again. Watching it as a child and then again as an adult made it a different experience.

The Santa Clause - I forgot how much I loved this movie when it first came out. Tim Allen is one of hose comedians that I always felt was underappreciated. I thought it was still family friendly funny that I remember while making me believe in the joy of Santa all over again.

Love Actually - We use to watch this movie every time we decorated the Christmas tree and then we had kids, so that tradition had to change. This isn't as kid friendly as the other titles so you might want to wait until the kiddos fall asleep, but this is the movie that made us Walking Dead fans first fall in love with Andrew Lincoln.

The Legend of Frosty the Snowman - This one will remind you why you love Frosty and why you believe in the magic of him. *Spoiler Alert* Frosty saves the town and teaches them to have fun again. And you're going to love it.

Scrooged - Another one for the older crowd. It's "A Christmas Carol" with Bill Murray as Scrooge. It is hilarious. It was actually playing in our hospital room when my daughter was born. If you want to watch a kid safe version of "A Christmas Carol", then check out "Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed In at The House of Mouse".

Christmas with the Kranks - Another Tim Allen movie made my list. This one is for all you out there that just didn't feel like getting into the holiday spirit. Decorating, wrapping presents, holiday baking, sending out cards, and everything else that goes with this time of year can be over whelming, but by the end, you'll remember why you go through it all in the first place.
