Coping With Bedwetting #WalmartTRUFIT #IC

This post is about nocturnal enuresis. Or bedwetting. Bedwetting is a natural, fairly common condition. But unfortunately bedwetting is something that many parents (43% according to a GoodNites® brand study) believe children can be "trained" out of, which is just not the case. Bedwetting is something that can't be controlled. But there are solutions to help your child feel confident, even at night, so they can still have fun.

Bedwetting is something that can be very embarrassing to both the child and parent. But what do you do when your child gets invited to a slumber party? You want your child to enjoy new experiences without worry or anxiety because they might have an accident. That's why GoodNites* TRU-FIT* is a great product for your budding socialite that can be found at your local Walmart. GoodNites* TRU-FIT* is a product for both boys and girls to feel comfortable while wearing it knowing that it’s a two-part system with real, machine-washable underwear and a disposable, absorbent insert that they can just take out and throw away if an accident occurs.

My daughter and I have been coping with bedwetting. She is starting to become dry most nights, but she does have an accident every now and then. I must admit, I was one of those parents that thought my daughter could be "trained" out of bedwetting. We tried different methods. Limiting water intake, waking her to go to the bathroom, etc. And 41% of parents were just like us, they felt frustrated because nothing was working. In reality, nothing was working because her body just wasn't ready. She is very embarrassed when she has an accident because she feels like she did something wrong, even though we have told her that we know it was an accident and we just need to clean it up. That's why I love GoodNites* TRU-FIT* because her sheets stay dry, she feels confident and comfortable wearing them, plus if she does have an accident, then she can clean it up herself.

Check out this cute little video that a few GoodNites* TRU-FIT* ambassadors put together:

GoodNites* TRU-FIT* can be purchased at Walmart and you can also save to $2 with this coupon.

Have you and your family experienced bedwetting? How did you cope? What do you think of GoodNites* TRU-FIT*?

  3. Oh I had nightmares with my son with bed wetting! We actually had to see a urologist and ended up putting him on medication for the problem. He was like 7 by then, he would never spend the night anywhere and was very embarrassed by the situation. We did not want him to get used to the medication so after we started seeing results, we started to wean him for the medications. He actually get anxious as soon as the medication was getting low, we slowly reduced the dose and then went to every other day and he did well. SUCCESS! He is 15 now! :)

    1. Potty training and bedwetting are two very different things. I use to think they were one in the same as well. But a child can't be trained out of bedwetting.

  6. I have an Autistic son. He was not potty trained completely till the age of 7 years old. I wish I would have known about these. They would have been a life saver during those last few months of bed wetting.

    1. Bedwetting isn't the same as potty training unfortunately, but if these would have made your little guy more confident then that's awesome.

  7. There's a great little video clip about the possible causes for bedwetting on Perfect Start's Facebook page that is worth taking a look at (all natural). I can say first hand that this has worked for my children and several of their cousins!

    Hope this helps!! = )

  8. Oh, I love this! Thank you so much for sharing, I did not know they made anything like this... it wont be too long before I am dealing with this myself, and these look like a great buy, instead of the bulky traditional ones! They look so much like regular underwear it is unbelievable. I liked the video at the bottom as well. :) Thank you again!!!
