Krusteaz Makes #BreakfastNight Family Time {Anything Goes Fall Giveaway Hop}

I received complimentary products from Krusteaz in order to provide this review. All opinions are my own.

September was National Breakfast Month, but I think breakfast makes for a FUN dinner during the fall. There is nothing like a warm belly on a cold day. I recently had the opportunity to have a Breakfast Night with my family with help from Krusteaz.

In a national survey, Krusteaz found that nine out of ten (91 percent) Americans say they eat breakfast for dinner, with 56 percent doing so once a month or more often. For families, the trend is even more prevalent as 67 percent of respondents with children in the household say they have breakfast for dinner once a month or more.

A variety of factors contribute to the rising popularity of breakfast for dinner, with the main appeal being ease of preparation versus a traditional dinner meal (43 percent). For families especially, it’s also “a fun way to break up the monotony of weekly dinner night” cited by 44 percent.

My daughter LOVES pancakes and waffles. She wants them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack time! So I just get out my griddle and make the whole family happy when I make super easy recipes like the one featured below.

Lemon Buttermilk Waffles

What You Need:
Krusteaz® Belgian Waffle Mix
- Finely grated lemon zest
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- Whipped cream
- Blueberries

What You Do:
1. Prepare Krusteaz® Belgian Waffle Mix as directed for 4-5 waffles.
2. Add 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest and 1/4 cup buttermilk.
3. Garnish with whipped cream, lemon zest and fresh blueberries.
