Weekly Totals: Publix & Kroger 58% Savings + Linky

This. Is. Me.

Anyways I had some great shopping trips this week!
The first Publix trip was actually a leak over from last week but
we have been fighting colds so I was pretty lazy plus I have been trying to get my blog, diet, exercise, couponing, and everything else in my life organized.
So although I have been saving money where I can,
I need to get back on the Dave Ramsey band wagon! :)

Kroger Trip:

I had intentions of getting with coupons but they were out AND I forgot my $0.50/1 Cheerios coupon that would have doubled but did manage to use this Saving Star one making them $1.49 instead of $0.49 that it should have been. I spent too much - $39.61 OOP (if I didn't have a $10 gift card from a campaign, it would have been more) but it's okay because I stocked up on the veggies needed to do the Copy Kids DVD review and some special items for Valentine's Day. :)

2nd Publix Trip:

This trip goes to show why you need to remember what the date is and why you need to write down your game plan precisely when Couponing. :(

So here is what I got:

6 Hallmark Cards $0.99
- 2 BOGO in ad Publix Coupons (should have been 3 :[ )
- 2 $2/3 Hallmark Greeting Card Coupon IP
= FREE (should have been a money maker though)

Angel Soft 24 ct Bath Tissue $5.49
- $1/1 Target IP
- $1/1 Coupons.com IP
= $3.49 or $0.15 a roll!

2 Sargento Shredded Cheese BOGO $4.19
- $1/2 Target IP
- 2 $0.55/1 IP found HERE
= $2.09 or $1.05 each!
PLUS FREE Hawaiian rolls with THIS COUPON

2 Quaker Chewy Bars BOGO $2.99
- $1/2 Target IP
- $1/2 from Jan 2013 All You Magazine
= $0.99 or $0.50 each!

2 Bustelo Coffe (10 oz) $2.69
- 2 $1/1 Facebook IP
= $3.38 or $1.69 each

2 Juicy Juice Fruitifuls 8ct BOGO $3.25
- $1/1 IP from website (Must sign-Up)

(If you see another post tomorrow, it's because I thought today was the 9th!)

TOTAL Savings = $78.79

  1. wow! you did really REALLY well! I don't get into coupons, prefering to gravitate to Costco, but I love reading about super-shoppers like you and cheering them on! keep up the great work!
