Bacon & Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf #Recipe from ManApprovedDiet

I am so excited to welcome Man Approved Diet as my first blog to have a sponsored post. Are you interested in seeing your recipe, craft, or anything about you on Nanny To Mommy? Please visit my Sponsorship tab today. :)

------------------

The Man behind the Man Approved Diet is my husband. He tastes every recipe on my blog, and a lot of them that don’t make it to the blog. Luckily he’s usually pretty easy to cook for. His only requirement is that I use cheese, bacon, ranch, or jalapenos in as many recipes as possible. Well, and that I always have some sort of back up meal in the freezer…
One of his favorite recipes is Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf. Normally he doesn’t like meatloaf, but just add some bacon and cheese to it and it becomes one of his most requested recipes.

Ingredients
3 minced cloves garlic
1/2 cup chopped onions
6 slices center cut bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 tablespoons dry rub
3 diced plum tomatoes
1 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Combine the diced tomatoes, garlic, breadcrumbs, ground turkey and barbecue dry rub in a large bowl.
In a saute pan, cook the bacon and onions until the bacon is crispy. Drain well on paper towels.
Line a bread pan with foil. Put half of the meat mixture in the bottom of the pan, creating a depression running down the center of the loaf. Fill the depression with the bacon mixture and half of the cheese. Cover with the remaining meat mixture, ensuring that the bacon and cheese are sealed in.
Bake covered for 30 minutes. Top with the remaining barbecue sauce and cheese, bake for another five minutes or until the cheese is melted.
To make it in the microwave instead of the oven, form the meatloaf in a microwave safe container. Cover it and microwave it for 18 - 20 minutes. Top with the barbecue sauce and cheese, cover and microwave for another 3 - 5 minutes.

DateVitation - Sponsor Spotlight + A Giveaway!

My new sponsor has a GREAT gift idea for Valentine's Day. Datevitation is a Date Coupon Booklet that you can give to your spouse, friend, or other loved one. And they have TONS of cute dates that you can personalize.

Why did I pick this one?
Because Hubby and I use to go to the movies all the time before Sweet Pea. It's classic and we never get to go anymore. With this, I personalized saying that I would find our sitter, since I always make find one. :)

He loves sleeping in, but I always make him get up to spend time with us, so this one was kind of a no-brainer.

I hate Mexican and he loves it. Every time we go out he wants to go there. I have to be in the mood...to be nice and let him go. It's not that I hate it, if it were just margaritas we could go there all the time. ;) It just isn't worth the stomach pain and stench that comes along with it to me. But I love him so we can go one time. :)

This is Hubby's chore. So I will do it for him this time. :D

Hubby's FAVORITE vacation spot but the reason I put this here is because we can't afford Vegas even in the far off future but I wanted you to see how much variety were in these dates.

And what I loved the best was the option to pick 'private' date pages just for your significant other. :D

Plus the whole process was personalized and easy-peasy! I just picked the pictures or actions I wanted and customized the pre-written wording to include some of our little jokes. I cannot wait for it to come in so I can give it to him!

And because the people at Datevitation are so kind (and you know I love a good deal), they have offered to let y'all try it for yourselves! Books normally start at just $20, but as a special treat for my followers, you can use the code 'NANNYMOMMY' for $10 off your purchase so it makes for a thoughtful yet economical gift. So a custom, cute Valentine's Day gift for just $10!

And as if that wasn't enough, you can also enter for a chance to create your very own Datevitation 5 page custom book for free! Just enter in the rafflecopter below!

Creating Your First Family Budget

Did you decide one of your resolutions for the New Year would be to save money? I know one of mine was.

But where does your money go every month? You have to sometimes wonder if the same little creature that steals socks from your laundry is somehow swiping your debit and credit cards or writing checks in your name. We all know that we need to save money and plan for the future. We might be tempted to run a marathon up hill in the snow before sitting down and seeing where money goes every month.

Before you throw in the towel and decide to give up on your New Year's Resolution of saving for your kid's college tuition, that family trip you've always wanted, or simply getting out of debt, give budgeting a shot with the following steps.

Step 1 - Print off the budget form that can be found HERE or click the image above.

Step 2 - Write down what you are spending on a monthly basis. If you aren't sure, give it your best guess.

Step 3 - Total each category in the total fields.

Step 4 - Total all the categories at the bottom.

You have taken the first step in setting a budget and moving toward your saving's goals. Let 2013 be the year you accomplish your resolutions.

Share with how you are saving money and budgeting this year by using hashtag #getthrifty.

Thanks to www.emeals.com for this helpful budget sheet. Check them out to see how you can save $1,000 each year on groceries.

For a limited time E-Meals is offering an exclusive coupon code for Nanny2Mommy readers. You can use the discount code BUDGET for $3 off any eMeals dinner meal plan subscription!

CoverGirl Blast Flipstick Review - BzzAgent

As some of you may or may not know, I am a Bzz Agent where I get awesome FREE stuff to review and share my opinions on. The latest thing that I got to try and test out, was CoverGirl's NEW Blast Flipstick.
I love trying out make up products so this was right up alley.

What do I like about CoverGirl Blast Flipstick?
It moisturized my lips right off the bat and the color combinations you could create were awesome. Here are some of the colors I received in my bzz kit and as you can see I used a ton of variations to decide which color I liked best. And you can easily do this too.

What I didn't like about CoverGirl Blast Flipstick?
Although I felt sexy, the lip stick came off on EVERYTHING! And then when it started coming off it just stained my lips and was splotchy plus it made my lips peel. This, although, could be caused by the fact my lips were kind of dry before? But I wasn't a fan of the splotchy look.

So would I suggest buying it?
If you get it really cheap and ALWAYS carry it with you so you can apply more and expect lip stick marks on everything.
