When you are young, people are always asking you questions. Not only are they doing this, but then they proceed to tell you what they believe your answer should be. The problem with this is that it creates a culture of young men who are not following their hearts, feeling like they should be in a particular career. As such, they are not going into the career that they want to. Instead of doing this, we believe that you should encourage your child to be whatever he wants to be, and we’re going to look at some suggestions down below.

The first idea we have is that you can encourage your child to become a pro athlete. Now, we know that this is rare, and your child will have to be exceptional to make it happen, but that doesn’t mean he can’t. As long as he is willing to put in the hours of practice that it is going to take, that they are committed, eating the right diet and so on, anything is possible. You should never try to dissuade them from their dream and if that is to be a pro athlete, then you need to stand behind them. Of course, this doesn’t mean that they can give up on their studies altogether as they will still need them.

Another career path that you should encourage is to become a teacher. While there are many male teachers, it is still seen as more of a female led job than a male one which is ridiculous. Educating others is a fantastic career choice as you are dedicating your life to helping the kids of the community grow into better people. It might only be a small influence that you have while they are on the school grounds, but trust us when we say that it’s enough to change some lives.

Your son will have to get his head around a lot quite quickly then such as the school rules, curriculum and so on. He is also going to have to learn how to use k-12 software for teachers to make his life easier!

Finally, we know that this can be scary, but if your kid wants to join the emergency services to help people, then you should support this. Whether it is the fire department, police department or a doctor, they all matter and they are all needed. These are some of the biggest heroes ever, and if your child wants to be just like them, you should be proud.
