My son is addicted to his iPad and video games. It is taking over his brain and not in a good way at all. Since the pandemic, his screen time has only increased! His teacher has to teach his class online so she can manage both in-school and at-home learners. I have even found my son trying to sneak his iPad into his bed at night. But I am honestly tired of having the battle with my son over how much he is on a screen, that's why I did some research and found Circle Home Plus to help manage his screen time.

Manage Kids Screen Time With Circle Home Plus

Did you know? COVID-19 has caused a 500% increase in screen time for kids. Nearly half of American children spend more than six hours a day in front of a screen. One of the drawbacks? More time to search for (or stumble upon) harmful content.

Circle® Home Plus is the #1 comprehensive screen time management solution, Circle is committed to making families’ lives better, online and off. They envision a world where families find balance, set healthy limits, build good habits, and get the best out of their digital experiences, rather than being consumed by them. Circle’s screen time management and parental controls solution is the easiest way to manage all your family’s connected devices - everywhere - and keep kids safe online.

What sets Circle apart for me is that it enables screen-time management both inside and outside the home, making it the most complete solution on the market to keep kids safe online. (The hardware allows families to manage all devices in home, while the app allows for management of mobile devices on the go.) The Circle App lets parents quickly customize settings and features appropriate for each child in the family.

Some questions that I have been getting:
1. Does it slow down your internet?
I haven't noticed it to slow down ours.
2. Can you use it to cut off Xbox?
Yes, if they are streaming online. I do not know if they aren't connected to the internet though.

What are your tips to monitor your child's screen time/online activity, if any?

  1. You are so right about the pandemic forcing our kids to be on their electronics more. My teenage grandson
Started getting headaches from playing Fortnite so much! The doctor did a few tests on him too. It’s really ashame! At first, I thought the television was going to be the problem. Nope! They can watch TV on their devices! I never heard of Circle Home Plus, but I am informing my daughters about this service. I’m also pinning and sharing on Facebook and Twitter. That way parents can monitor them even when they are at work. Thank you for sharing!
