Sore Muscle Bath Salt Soak with Essential Oils

I love giving homemade gifts, especially if I think they can help the person too. My mom has fibromyalgia and I have been trying to introduce her to the wonderful effects of essential oils for a while now. But I was recently introduced to Simply Earth and their recipe boxes and I thought it would be a great gift idea too!

Simply Earth has a Simply Pure Promise which means they work on creating the standards for what it means to have high quality oils. All this is backed with their 365 day Simply Earth Guarantee. To make sure each plant reaches its potential, they carefully and ethically choose a region where it will thrive. Then they work with their farmers. When their plants have reached maturity, they are harvested safely and fairly. From there they collect their natural essential oils through either cold-pressing or steam-distillation. Every batch is then tested to ensure 100% purity.

Include in my box was many recipes, but including a Sore Muscle Soak Recipe:

What You Need:
2 cups Epsom Salt
1/2 cup Baking Soda
10 drops Simply Earth Sleepy Essential Oil
10 drops Simply Earth Lemongrass Oil

What You Do:
1. Combine ingredients in a glass bowl (I used a mason jar)
2. Add 2 tablespoons to a bathtub of warm water
3. Soak for 20 minutes to relax and relieve sore muscles

Since you will have extra, this makes a GREAT gift idea!

Here are some more blends to try as well:

Mental-Stress Relief
Blend 4 drops of lavender with 2 drops of peppermint essential oil and use in a diffuser or add to your bath water.

Emotional-Related Stress Relief
For any type emotional stress blend 4 drops of lavender essential oil with 3 drops of chamomile oil. Add it to your bath water and feel the stress melt away or inhale the aroma for best effect.

Essential Oil Blend for Calming and Relaxing When Feeling Overwhelmed
5 drops of lavender essential oil, 10 drops of chamomile essential oil, 1 fl. oz. of sweet almond or jojoba as a carrier oil.

And if you can also make Bath Bombs from Epsom Salts too!

One of the beautiful things about essential oils is that each bottle is slightly different, because every plant and harvest is different. Simply Earth preserves these unique qualities by professionally packaging their oils in amber glass bottles. This not only guards their oils freshness and natural benefits but also protects against damaging UV rays. They’re so confident in their oils abilities to safeguard your home that they offer a 365 day satisfaction guarantee!

If you decide to sign up for the Simply Earth Subscription Box, please use my exclusive promo code: N2MSAVESFREE because then you will receive a Big Bonus Box, an Essential Oil Recipe box, and a $20 gift card towards future purchases.

Fun fact about Simply Earth is that they donate 13% of their profits to fight human trafficking. Check out the unboxing below to see what you get in the Bonus Box and Essential Oil Recipe box from Simply Earth:
