Silky, Shiny Hair with Desert Essence

I love trying out new products. Although I have do have skin and scalp sensitivities, I am still brave enough to try new brands but the key, in my opinion, is reading labels. And when you can feel good about trying about brand's product because you can understand what is in it, that makes all the difference.

I am pretty particular about the products that I use on my hair. I am still getting use to wavy hair that I started having more and more of since my first pregnancy in 2010. It is so weird how pregnancy can have unexpected side effects, like changing your hair texture. But since it does, I am more cautious with the products I use on my hand while still having to try new ones to find out what works for me. The worst pregnancy/hair side effect that happened to me was more breakage, so I need something that can help improve my hair health overall as well. Desert Essence Anti-Breakage Shampoo & Conditioner smells great and leaves my hair feeling hydrated and light.

About Desert Essence Anti-Breakage Shampoo and Conditioner
- Infused with an exclusive blend of Country Life Maxi-Hair® plus Biotin, this breakthrough formula with Keratin and Pro-Vitamin B5 helps reduce breakage up to 61%.
- Rich in nourishing Jojoba and coconut oils, aloe, and saw palmetto, these ingredients smooth and fortify hair cuticles, and revitalize hair strands to minimize breakage.
- The botanical oils and radish seed extract provide incredible shine.
- The aloe and moisturizing shea butter in the Anti-Breakage Conditioner help detangle and condition hair.

It is especially helpful to those who have breakage due too much swim or those who dye their hair.

  4. This brand has been around since 1978 and I have never heard of them?? Weird! With 4 daughters and eleven granddaughters, they usually keep me up on these kind of things, especially when I used to buy their hair products. I do dye my hair now and then. It weakens my hair lately to where it breaks off. When my hair fell out, it came back all white and coarse - no luster at all. I didn’t like all that white/gray. I’m going to ask my kids if they’ve heard of this particular brand. I know old age adds to the problem now too. This was pin worthy. Thank you for sharing!
