Do you ever look at someone and wonder what’s going on inside their head? Disney-Pixar’s “Inside Out” takes an exciting and hilarious journey into the mind to find the answer. Based in Headquarters, the control center of 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy. She strives to make sure Riley stays happy as she operates alongside fellow emotions Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.

 

My daughter had been interested in the characters from Inside Out well before she had even seen it. And she was all about Joy. Once seeing the movie, she has already started memorizing the adorable one liners. My personal favorite character is Anger, but you will fall in love with them all...even Sadness. And Inside Out is going to make you want a Bing Bong of your very own.

It’s “an instant classic,” raves Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times. And we give it two BIG thumbs up! Even if you saw it in theaters, you can experience it like never before now on Disney Blu-ray. There are also some great extras including the short, "Riley's First Date?" That my husband and I find absolutely hilarious!



I have included this movie in my Holiday Gift Guide because it makes a great gift, especially for that budding tween. And a great stocking stuffer!
