My former boss when I was a nanny use to make this. She found it online and forwarded to me. I no longer have the original source and I have changed up the recipe anyways. :D
The thing that makes this recipe unique, is I use White Chocolate Chips and no nuts. I use to never like banana bread, even my husband was a skeptic that first time I made this, but now any time I some ripe bananas lying around, HUby always asks, "Will you please make some banana bread?" ;)
What You Need:
3 ripe bananas (and I mean mushy, mushy)
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups flour (I use whole wheat)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon baking soda
White Chocolate Chips (as many as you want! - I use the whole bag.) ;]
What You Do:
1- Preheat oven to 350°F.
2- Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon.
3- Bake in a buttered loaf pan until a toothpick stuck into the bread comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Slice and serve.
This looks so good! Made me hungry!
