Ever since SweetPea's case of the Bad Bubble Bath incident, I have been on the hunt for a better product. My doctor told me that I should look in to organic soaps because most children can't even be in the bath with soaps. My doctor said, "The thing is soaps (bubble bath, lotion, conditioners) aren't regulated by the government. So you have products like [enter random cartoon character here] bubble bath that you can buy and is targeted for young children, when in actuality, all children should be using soaps for sensitive skin and bubble bath shouldn't be used on children at all. Make your child stand up, wash them from head to toe, and then use a cup to rinse them off."
So with this in mind, I have been scared of using many products on her.
With my recent experience with Conscious Box, I explored all of the brands they work with and came across Bathtime Baby & Kids.
I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
The first thing I noticed is the way it smells, I love it! If you like perfumy scents then this might not be up your alley, but thing you should remember is that perfumes aren't good for your skin. They can dry it out. And Bathtime Kids actually doesn't have perfumes or dyes that's why I was surprised at home great it smells.
Usually with other head-to-toe products I noticed that SweetPea's hair would be stiff and full of tangles the next morning, but Bathtime Kids Head-to-Toe seems to have a conditioning agent that makes her hair easily brushed through.
What I love about Bathtime Kids is it's hypoallergenic, paraben free, sulfate free, glycol free, there are no endocrine disrupters, and no artificial dyes or fragrances. It is also cruelty free which means it wasn't tested on animals.
Make sure to follow them on Facebook to stay updated about their latest products. {Follow Them HERE.}

ReplyDeleteI'd love to enter but Im in the UK! My baby daughter gets very dry skin and I have to be careful with what I use on her. Love you blog by the way! Zoe
ReplyDeleteWait. SO we aren't supposed to give our kids bubble baths at all? Even with sensitive "soaps"? I use burts bees and give them bubble baths all the time. Should I let them have just water baths and then wash them standing up? Oh goodness haha I'm freaking out about this!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter got a UTI and my doctor said it was from bubble baths. This is what he said to me. He also said soap isn't regulated by the government. If you're children aren't having any issues, I guess keep doing what you're doing. :)
