I am one of those parents that thinks watching television is good thing for your family. I actually think it can be educational and a unique teaching tool. We have even used shows to help my daughter deal with bullying. And we love our family movie nights. But I do like to know what my daughter is watching because I don't want her to watch something that she is too young to understand or something that will give her nightmares. So I have created my tips for kid safe streaming.

Quenching Their Thirst with Honest Kids + Giveaway
Monday, February 27, 2017
My family has been very active since the new year. We have been going to the gym very regularly, eating a healthy diet, and we have been exploring out world more. We have been hiking a lot lately. The key to making a great hike is always being prepared, which means we always make sure to pack tons of options.
My kids have been HUGE fans of Honest Kids juices for a few years now. In fact, this is the only juice my daughter will drink these days! So I'm very excited that they are now sold at many grocery and big box stores in a new 10 count pack. They are USDA Organic, Gluten Free, and made with No GMOs. No GMOs means that if there is a bioengineered version of an ingredient, they don't use it. There is also no high fructose corn syrup, 100% daily value of vitamin C, and sweetened with only fruit juice.

Spread Cheer with Precious Moments Care Bears
Wednesday, February 22, 2017
I received complimentary products to provide this post. All opinions are my own.
I am a child of the 80's. I have loved Care Bears my entire life. I still have some of the original plushies, so I have been able to spread that down to my daughter and her love of their new show helps her love for them grow.
For nearly 40 years, Precious Moments has been creating gifts that celebrate caring, sharing, and love. Precious Moments wants to share the care with their Care Bears line. Celebrate with everyone’s favorite bears from Care-A-Lot! We have so many figurines from Precious Moments, and they never cease to amaze. We are loving this new collection.
Cook's Companion Wonder Pot Review & Giveaway
Tuesday, February 21, 2017
I have mentioned that one of my new year resolutions was to cook at home more. And so far, I have been sticking to it, but there are times when I just don't feel like cooking. I want to be able to whip up a quick, delicious meal that my family will love without doing to much work. I want to be able to just throw stuff into a pot and go.
I was recently introduced to Cook's Companion Digital Wonder Pot through Phoenix Trading Company. The Wonder Pot is a part rice cooker, part steam cooker and even does soups and baking. It is very easy to use and clean. It has a ton of great settings. The digital controls are simple to program and feature an “Automatic Warm” setting that allows you keep your food warm during the day so your meal is fresh and ready to eat when you want it.

Keeping the Romance When TTC
Monday, February 20, 2017
This is a sponsored conversation from Mums the Word Network and The Stork OTC. All opinions are my own.
Being romantic when you are trying to conceive, for some, has to be a conscious effort. From ovulation strips and calendars to sperm counts, no wonder trying to conceive can feel more like work. It can be exhausting. And it can be hard on a marriage. This is my little list I have created (from personal experience) about keeping the romance when trying to conceive.
