Happy Birthday, Sweet Pea! My Little Pony Birthday Party Ideas

Happy birthday, Sweet Pea! Oh how the years have flown by! My smart, creative, sweet, caring, sassy girl is seven. I am still trying to wrap my brain around it. It feels like yesterday we were bringing her home and totally clueless on this parenting gig.

We do throw parties at our house for our children. We don't buy gifts because we feel like the party is the gift. And both of my kids are totally okay with that. My daughter decided this year she wanted a My Little Pony party. We were going to rent a bounce house (like we tried to last year), but of course it had to snow early in Georgia and we had to cancel again. But we didn't tell my daughter yet, so it was okay.

Anyways, I love working with Oriental Trading for birthday party decorations. They have so many wonderful options to choose from and are perfect if you are on a budget. My mom was an elementary school teacher before she retired and she has mentioned multiple times how Oriental Trading was her choice to shop because you could get so much without breaking the bank.

What I also love about Oriental Trading is that you can search any term or theme you are looking for and they suggest so many greats ideas. I searched My Little Pony and a ton of My Little Pony Magic Party Supplies were suggested to me. They also have other party décor, holiday décor, Halloween costumes, and even wedding décor too!

In the above picture, my daughter is wearing her My Little Pony Muck Boots that my mom bought her for Christmas last year. They are super cute and sturdy too! For the party she wore a shirt my mother-in-law made on her Cricut, but you could easily buy one on Amazon or Etsy.
We also got my daughter's pull apart cupcake cake specially made at Kroger. And although I took pictures of the décor beforehand, I did a terrible job taking pictures during the event. I always seem to do this when I don't have my phone in my hand and am actually enjoying the party.

  6. I’ve ordered Oriental Trading before, but it wasn’t for decorations, the order was for a personalized blanket for a loved one. They did a real nice job. I would order decorations from them and more & their prices are reasonable.
