Exploring Outer Space with Educational Insights

My daughter is at this amazing age where she wants to learn as she plays. I think it has a lot to do with the amazing teachers that she had last year. They focused on a lot of hands-on learning and she learned so much in the past year. Now that summer is in full force, I have been wanting to make sure she doesn't get "Summer Brain Drain" and lose all that information.

I received complimentary products to provide this review. All opinions are my own.

So when I was asked to review the GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope from Educational Insights, I took it as an opportunity to help my daughter learn about the moon and other lunar facts with a hands-on experience.

The GeoSafari Jr. My First Microscope is perfect for preschoolers interested in space and the moon while encouraging exploration and discovery. It introduces them to the wonders of space and perfect for STEM learning. It is a focus-free telescope with 10x magnification that provides fantastic views of the moon, while keeping the field of vision wide, which is essential for a young child's understanding of magnified views.

Please note in my top picture that I put the telescope on backwards. Haha. Still easy to install if you pay attention. Doh.

More Details:
  • Focus-free, easy-setup telescope designed specifically for young scientists.
  • 10x Magnification with wide field of vision, built-in diagonal mirror, and lens cap.
  • Two large eyepieces with comfy goggle and nose cut-out guide for perfect eye placement.
  • Adjustable tripod for tabletop viewing (collapsible for easy storage).
  • Multilingual instructional guide showcasing the phases of the moon.

She seems enthralled with learning about space now. We received "Smithsonian Discover: Earth" last year to review and have been reading it in conjunction with the telescope to expand her discoveries. Exploring not only her world, but others worlds has really encouraged her and helped us beat summer boredom.
