Spread Cheer with Simple Surprises + Giveaway

It's that time of year...Holiday Baking Season! Whether you are participating in a cookie exchange, bringing sweets to your kiddos class, or giving the gift of good cheer, there are so many simple recipes to be found. I recently made some Holiday Blossom Cookies with sprinkles baked right in for my daughter's ornament trail at school. My daughter thinks they taste fantastic. And I have Betty Crocker to thank.

When my husband and I lived in a teeny, tiny apartment, way back before we had kids, I use to make cookies for everyone I knew. Cookies say someone really cares.
My favorite way to share them with others was of course Ziploc containers and a bright bow on top. It was the easiest way I could decorate the container however I liked, plus they received a bonus gift of reusable storage.

Although I don't make cookies for everyone anymore, I still like to spread the cheer with these simple surprises. It's so easy to save on these easy-to-make treats with Betty Crocker at Publix. Plus if you visit ReadyPlanSave, you can not only save on select Betty Crocker and Ziploc products, but you can discover new recipes - like the ones pictured below.
