Fun In The Sun with Backyard Ocean

My favorite summer time activity has always been swimming. You get to stay cool and it's FUN exercise! My daughter has been becoming a little fish this summer (she is still wearing floaties), but it has been our BY FAR favorite thing to do. So a few months back when I received the opportunity to work with Backyard Ocean, I was all over it! I received an Interactive Castle Play Pool and Jumping Gym Inflatable Bouncer to review. I also received a Splash & Play 3D Adventure Fast Set Family Pool that I get to giveaway to one lucky reader!

I really wanted to have a big get together at my house to showcase these items (and that still might happen), but with a new baby I should have known better. But we did have a family cook out. We grilled out burgers and I even decorated our patio area. If you would to learn how to choose a kids pool, check out this article: https://www.globosurfer.com/best-blow-up-swimming-pools-for-kids/

My daughter thinks that Inflatable bouncer is a huge bed. I tried to show her that she is suppose to bounce on it by showing the pictures of the other children bouncing on it, but she just wouldn't do it. It was lot to blow up, but it has a spot so you can use a hair dryer so that made it a lot easier. My son even got in on the action. It comes with hard plastic spikes so you can secure it to the ground with ease.

The Interactive Castle Play Pool was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were displayed in pictures. There was tubing so water could come out of the sides in 10 streams or if you stand on a certain spot water shoots out of the dragon's mouth, but it was very easy to assemble. My daughter doesn't normally like water in her face, so I was kind of nervous about this, but she absolutely LOVES it! She calls it her princess pool. The tower part is detachable, our experience was if there was a slight breeze the tower would blow off. It comes with a ring toss game that is also a very neat feature.

Starting July 14th, you will have the opportunity to enter to win a Splash & Play 3D Adventure 7 ft. Fast Set Family Pool. I am excited for the opportunity to share with you that this pool comes with 2 3D swim goggles so you can view the 3D images displayed on the inside of the pool! It retails for over $100, but you can grab it on sale now from Backyard Ocean for only $73!

Remember, Giveaway starts July 14th! So stay tuned.

You can follow Backyard Ocean on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest to keep up with the FUN!

What is your favorite summertime activity? What is your favorite summertime memory? What's your go to summertime soundtrack or song?

My favorite summertime activity is swimming. One of my all time favorite summertime memories was when I was in the Girl Scouts. My mom was the chaperone of our camping trip and we had so much fun in the three days that we were at camp. The only song that comes to mind right now is Summertime by Will Smith. ;)

  20. Growing up, we spent all summer long camping on an Indian reservation in the Pala mountains of San Diego County. And I mean all. summer. long. I was able to take my oldest there, once. But my younger kids were never able to experience true camping before we upgraded -- to an RV.
