Wordless Wednesday; Week #1

Although this picture needs no words, I would just like to say, I hope this is true. And my dad does play with Sweet Pea. He passed away when I was five months pregnant with her. I miss him so. I hope he is proud of me.

    1. Thank you. I wish I could just see him one more time. I miss him everyday. It's been a grieving process that has been hard but bearable. Every day it gets a little easier.

  5. Gee, this is so special. I am so sorry that your father died before you had your baby. Somehow I believe that our departed loved ones are with us in spirit. Take care and all the very best to you and your family.

  9. I love this. I do believe he's there with her. I was 14 when my dad passed away and I do believe he was with me through everything from then on. I felt him in so many ways. My husband passed away 6 months ago and I've been telling my kids that their dad is still with them and will be there with them through everything from now on. It may not be the way we want, but they will feel him all around them when they least expect it.

  10. That is a lovely composition, it reminded me of my father in law he passed away after I gave birth to my first born and he never got to meet her. I also hope he plays or watches over her.

  12. Wow I believe this is true. My grandfather passed away while I was pregnant with my daughter, and after she was born I had a magical incident that had to be a sign that he had been there...

    Happy WW :)

  18. I', sure you dad is very proud of you and Sweetpea too.

I am certain that those who have passed on visit the younger ones. When my six year old daughter was a baby, around 10 months old she had a 'friend' she would play and talk with called Diddy Da Da.

  19. This brings a tear to my eye. You are truly blessed to have had a wonderful daddy. I'm sure he is VERY proud of you! Your little Sweet Pea is a lucky lady because she will know her grandpa through her mama's sweetness. :-)
