Shopping Totals: 7/14/12 - 66% Savings (Way Over Due)

I'm sorry I was behind on this totals post. Life has been busy and chaotic lately and I will update more on that later. Anyways. I am still without a car so I am still relying on my husband for transportation. And like I have said before, shopping with him is a NIGHTMARE! LOL. He did do better this time than he has done in the past.

Publix:
6 Kellogg's Fruit Snacks @ $2.99 = FREE (Used FREE item coupons from emailing companies)
5 Earth's Best Fruit  Smoothies @ 2/$3 = -$0.10 (Used 3 FREEbie coupons, 2 $0.55/1 from emailing, and $2 Target competitor coupon)
6 Gerber Graduate pasta pickups 3/$4 = $5 (Used 3 $0.50/2 from rebate)
1 Donut House K-Cup 12 ct 2/$12 = $4 (Used $2/1 IP)

Used $5 off $25 Target Competitor coupon

Total after coupons and including tax: $4.83
Total Saved: $39.29

Kroger:
**** Remember we get a discount on all Kroger brand items.***
3 Kroger Croutons 10/$10 = $2.7
6 Ramen Noodles $1.17 = $7.02
Kroger hotdog buns 10/$10 = $0.90
2 Fresh Selections Salads $1.79 = $3.22
Bananas 1.75 lb @ $0.57/lb = $1
Grapes 2.53 lb @ $1.99/lb = $5.03
Kroger Roast Beef lunch meat = $2.70
Kroger Turkey lunch meat = $3.32
Kroger Ham lunch meat = $3.32

Mega Event Items -
2 Dean's Dips @ $0.99 = FREE ($1/1 IPs)
1 Pictsweet Sweet Potatoes $2.79 = FREE (FREEbie coupon from emailing)
4 Mentos Gum $0.50 each = FREE ($1/2 Manu coupons)
2 Naked Coconut Water $0.75 = FREE ($1/1 IPs from Facebook)
Gerber Graduate Meal $1.50 = $0.50 (Used $0.50/1 coupon from rebate)
2 Old Spice Deodorants = $0.49 (Used $2/2 - messed up and got the wrong ones)
4 Colgate $1 = FREE (Used $0.50/1)
4 Del Monte canned fruits $1 = $0.75 each (Used $1/4)

Total after coupons and tax: $35.50
Total Savings: $39.98

I have to say, this Mega Event was very confusing and took a LOT of math since the prices weren't marked because people don't get 10 items and then wonder why they didn't get the price on the label. So I understand why Kroger did it this way, but it was complicated for people like me who are terrible at math. And as you can see I still messed up a little bit. All in all though, I was very proud of this shopping trip.

So how did you do? Leave your link-up below and don't forget to comment! :D
