Stay Warm while Camping, Tailgating, Hunting, & More with Selk'bag

So back in June, I was pitched to include the Selk'bag in my Father's Day Gift Guide. I was very excited about it because we had been wanting to start camping (which we did) and I thought they were such a neat idea.

A Selk'bag is a wearable, form-fit sleeping bag that provides fun, comfort and mobility, with colors and styles to reflect your unique personality. Selk’bag Lite is designed to give maximum comfort and warmth while providing the greatest freedom of movement. Featuring lightweight construction with removable booties, the Lite is perfect for outdoor activities in warmer seasons, and just about anything you can think of indoors, from playing to sleeping. Features removable booties and an anatomical shape. 44°F temperature rating.

Back to School Shopping with Schoola

Yes, you read that right. It is already time to start thinking about back-to-school season, especially if you want to score the good deals. Kids grow way too fast to pay full retail price for clothing. I try to buy marked down in any way I can. I have been shopping with Schoola since they first launched in 2013. They have clothes up to 70% off retail and I have had a great shopping experience since. I was excited to collaborate with Schoola on my very first back to school guide because they are company I believe in.

Perfect Summer Reading from Flower Pot Press + Giveaway

Reading is so important this time of year. Just because school is out, doesn't mean we should give our minds a break. We should simply stimulate their brains in a different way. That's why I love reading different books with my children. Summer reading is so important and if you read something that you enjoy reading aloud, your child will enjoy hearing it time and again.

Exploring Through Pretend Play with Little Adventures

It has been a very rainy summer so far here in Georgia. And we have been spending more time indoors than I would personally like to. But we have been making the best of it and have been finding some fun indoor activities to do. We have been playing with a lot of play-doh, coloring, other crafts, and of course playing dress up. We love "dress up" or "pretend play" in our house. It is a great way for them to explore through imagination and can help them express their feelings as well.

I was recently introduced to Little Adventures. Little Adventures sells soft, washable, affordable dress ups. The company was started 15 years ago by two moms who were tired of itchy, scratchy dress ups that fell apart and were not washable. They wanted dress up clothing that children could wear outside, take naps in, or even wear to the grocery store!
