Big Apple Circus {Wonderful Wednesday LINKY}

If you follow us on social media, then you know that we had the opportunity to go to the 40th Anniversary Big Apple Circus Debut in Alpharetta, GA as part of a media event. Tickets are still available for purchase. We had a wonderful time starting with the introduction by Ringmaster Ty McFarlan to the standing ovation. Our jaws dropped multiple times. We laughed thanks to Mr. Joel & Skip and the entire show kept us on the edge of our seats. We loved every minute of it and I was so glad that I received this opportunity to share with my kids.
Here some pictures I took during the first act. I wasn't great about taking pictures during the second act, but there's some great video of the highlights. The first act showcased Rola Bola featuring Jan Damm, Contortion featuring Elayne Kramer, Horse Act featuring trainer Jenny Vidbel, Juggling featuring Gamal Garcia, and Trapeze act featuring The Flying Tunizianis.
I didn't do the best job taking pictures during the second act, but you can find highlight video of the full show below. If you are viewing this on your email, then you will need to click over to view - but it is worth it. ;) Second act showcased roller skating featuring Dandino & Luciana Garcia, dog act featuring trainer Jenny Vidbel, risley featuring Giuliano & Fabio Anastasini, and last but not least highwire featuring Nik Wallenda & the Fabulous Wallendas.

The music was all choreographed to fit perfectly with the routines by the Big Apple Circus Band led by Band Leader Rob Slowik.

  3. I love the circus! My kids acted like your kids. They were mesmerized! I really liked the video! I thought that man was going to barf after being tossed around as many times as he was! It is amazing what the circus performers can do! I would love to take my grandkids. I think a child should see a circus performance at least once in their lives! Thank you for sharing! It looks like a good time was had by all!!

  4. My 20-year-old kids have never been to the circus. I went once like 40 years ago. Living here in the SF Bay Area, people are always protesting around here-lol. That circus looks wonderful.

    Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.

  6. Looks like you had a wonderful time. We loved getting to go to see the circus a few years back. We were very glad to get there before the Ringling Bros. Circus was done and over with. I still have memories going to see it as a child. Thanks for stopping by and sharing over at Tots and Me

  7. It's probably been 2 decades since I've been to a circus. I miss those big kind of events.

  9. Sometimes it's difficult to get good pictures under low light but at least you got something. My motto is a bad picture is better than no picture. It's all about the memories anyhow,right? Thanks for joining my linky party!
