Today starts our first day back to school. She started Kindergarten this year and although she went to preschool the past two years, it finally dawned on me that this is big kid school. I like to expand my daughter's education through out the summer to make sure her mind keeps moving. I have been a HUGE fan of homeschooling with LeapFrog products for many years now and the new LeapStart interactive early learning system is perfect for the budding student.
The LeapStart interactive learning systems are designed to help build key skills and challenge kids to get ready for their next step in learning. Kids get excited about comprehension to communication, phonics to problem solving, and shapes to social skills with replayable activity books bursting with fun on every page.
The stylus of LeapStart Jr. is ergonomically designed for smaller hands, while that of LeapStart Sr. helps older children practice finer pen control. Using the stylus, kids can tap any page to activate audio responses and play activities designed to keep them engaged and coming back for more. Each book in the library is packed with over 30 activities. Games, jokes, and songs come to life, enticing kids to trace numbers, hunt for letters, compose their own music and so much more.
Both LeapStart learning systems work with a complete library of 16 books with content spanning four learning levels - from Preschool through 1st Grade. Each learning level teaches 50+ key skills beyond ABCs and 123s. From life skills and daily routines, to space science and coding, the LeapStart library supports code and life skills that complement early school.
Whether you are looking for something to help with homeschooling or even a great boredom buster on those long car rides and anywhere in between, I suggest the LeapFrog LeapStart. It has helped my daughter stay up to date with everything she learned in preschool and so much more. I am so excited for the new year to come!
