Why Use a Nursing/Teething Necklace

I received this product complimentary to provide this review. All opinions are my own.

I recently had the opportunity to review a beautifully stylish Chew-Choos Sweet Pea Silicone Teething Necklace from Baby Pinch Boutique. I have mentioned teething/nursing necklace a few times on my blog, but I have mentioned WHY you might use one.

If your little nursling is like mine, they have a tendency to get distract easily while nursing. This usually happens with older babies. Nursing necklaces are designed to keep baby focused on nursing, so you can build that connection and build up your supply.

If you babywear, these necklaces are GREAT to keep baby entertained as well give them something to chew on. This particular piece from Baby Pinch Boutique is wonderful because the Organic Food-Grade Silicone and Free from BPA, PVC, Phthalates, Cadmium, Lead, Latex or any harmful toxins. This FDA-approved silicone is also hygienic, hypoallergenic and resistant to bacteria. This chew necklace is soft yet firm silicone texture, similar to bottle nipples, helps to relieve baby's tender gums and emerging new teeth.

I included it in the Mom Fashion Giveaway Event, because I feel even if you don't have a little one, this would make a great statement piece would add style to complete your look.

What do you think of teething/nursing necklaces? What do you think of this piece from Baby Pinch Boutique?
